What is biofortification?
It’s making staple foods more nutritious through crop breeding.
Think 🌽 vitamin A maize, 🫘iron beans, 🍚 zinc rice and 🍠 orange sweet potato.
Same familiar foods. More essential micronutrients.

Sudan can’t wait. Neither can we.
As the conflict in Sudan enters its third year, it has become the world’s largest humanitarian crisis. 33 million people, including millions of children, are caught in a conflict that continues to escalate around them.
While children go hungry, weapons are still getting through.
That has to change.
Ahead of the upcoming Berlin Conference on Sudan, we’re calling on the Government of Canada to take two immediate steps:
-Close arms export loopholes
-Lead global efforts to ensure aid reaches children and families
