If you're using vite-plugin-cjs-interop, please drop me a line about what the offending package is and in what setup you need the fix (dev/build, ssr/client). I'd like to add some e2e tests to the CI against popular known offenders.

Just released a @vite_js plugin to improve the experience of testing/developing Fastly Compute JS apps locally. The docs are sparse at the moment but the examples should get you going pretty quickly.

One thing I love about being a developer is that I can cater to my own needs: I recently built songs.aygun.me, a chord sheet and setlist tool for my band's gigs.
It's super basic but I built it with Rakkas, which I also built (and it wasn't as simple 😅).

@FastlyDevs the only workaround needed was not to assume ReadableStream to be AsyncIterable 💃

I don't have much use for it anymore mainly because Deno and Cloudflare have top-tier Node compatibility modes of their own now.

Modest observation: "The staging branch/environment" *always* turns into a garbage bin filled with failed experiments and abandoned features that never get reverted. Preview deployments (one per branch) is the way but it's a pain to set up on most infras.
Compute is cheap since only a few product people will ever use the preview deployment. But provisioning a scratch database for each preview can be prohibitively expensive. Sharing a staging db causes the same garbage accumulation problem (with migrations).
