Anthropic is offering a 145k salary for a personal assistant in London.
Responsibilities include:
"Scheduling and managing calendars for leader(s) and their organization"
"Building and maintaining organizational systems for tracking and managing inbound requests"
"Managing the leader's inbox and communications with precise attention to detail"
"Handling travel logistics"
Somebody should really build some sort of tech tool that can handle this stuff autonomously.
The only group of people my age where 70%+ have played 1K+ hours to SimCity 2000 when teenagers was my beloved 1-151 @mit
So, I am figurinf authors like:
what paper can we publish so that
1. we get something out of the EEG
2. amuse ourselves
3. get citations from peers

A fun proxy for Europe's real tech hub: nonstop flights to San Francisco, where everything happens.

Cool eval. Simply ask an LLM “Land or Water?” and give it a latitude and longitude coordinate as text. Ask 16,200 times, plot as image. The models know. From compressing the internet.

The absurdity of modern America cul-de-sac design: an 84-minute walk separates the front doors of two homes that literally share at a backyard fence.

The news today of progress on resolving the Navier–Stokes problem, one of mathematics’ great longstanding challenges concerning the equations that govern the flow of fluids, represents a milestone advance in human knowledge. This story began with Navier, Stokes, Leray, and Ladyzhenskaya and has culminated in the recent breakthroughs of Córdoba and Martínez-Zoroa, then — assisted by new technologies — Alpöge and Buckmaster, with the final steps taken by OpenAI mathematicians. The purpose of mathematics is human understanding, and this achievement, and the process that led to it, will bear fruit for a long time to come.

Given we no longer build walkable cities and that 40% of buildings in Manhattan are illegal to build today per zoning code, this is unironically correct.
