something i believe needs to be deeply looked into is how the process of (human) learning is fundamentally changing as LLMs emerge. or rather, we are discovering how it should be done in the process of trying to teach it to machines.
there is something about having zero latency to information that makes internalization itself much easier, and it has nothing to do with availability.
because searching for info effectively doesn't exist anymore, learning is much more intuitive -- in the sense you can't really predict how your own curiosity will develop, you kinda just 'wonder' about things all of a sudden.
literally, wondering is wandering. the brain walks forward without apparent purpose and if you follow it, knowledge seems to be absorbed with speed and permanence that isn't typical to how we've been 'taught to learn,' which i would say is a paradox itself.
the path that we take to arrive at an understanding seems to have a huge impact on how well it sticks, as well as how it sticks.
perhaps it's something about the emotional satisfaction of learning the thing you actually want to learn, but i don't believe this sums it up. think it would be pretty foolish to say you can chalk up the quality of understanding to some "neurochemical firing" at the time of learning.
i dont believe this is as obvious as it may sound, since it implies the opposite of AI 'frying our brains' or people 'relying on them' too much.
it would actually point at the human condition staying ahead of what technology is capable of at all times. which i firmly believe to the be the case.
articulating why humanity isn't absolutely cooked doesn't seem to be easy, which is why i believe this needs some serious exploration. i have some wild anecdotes from the past several months myself, 100% impossible pre-LLM.
People are surprised that a company that sells traders to deployers is promoting a deployer.
It’s just business retards.
How long till u guys understand deployers are the customer in their model?
Of course they promote a successful case study.
Kimchi is the first person to truly cross the chasm between crypto and pop culture; the first ever example of a trader becoming a celebrity.
He represents exactly where we’re heading: a massive social trading ecosystem that onboards retail and grows to 10x the size we were last cycle.
The next wave of users does not come from CT - it comes from the masses - and we're proud to have Kimchi help us set the creative direction that will pave us on the path to a 100x larger ecosystem.
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
Kimchi is presented as a verified trader celebrity crossing into pop culture, but his signature claims of ~$40M profits trading $TRUMP (and resulting wealth) remain unverified with no disclosed wallet or on-chain proof.

There are secrets out there, in all different areas of life, and they're waiting to be discovered or learned. How does this NOT excite the hell out of people, I don't get it.
Most seem to believe the world/reality is figured out or something.. Insane. You should play your role to let Truth know & experience itself. That's only doable through being a Warrior - step into the Unknown.
yeah
beautiful explanation. this is 100% happening. xitter.cf/sotak/status/211179423…
Astronomers say they've discovered the first star that would appear green to human eyes.
The presence of calcium, sodium, and lithium in the star's composition is the source of its unusual color, astrophysicist Mark Hollands says.

The edge is (and always was) how deep & intricate the logic is. AI just translates English to code. It can’t see past a couple layers of logic without losing ground.
Vibecoding just opened the world to people who would’ve been elite programmers anyways if they spoke the language
contrary to popular belief, vibe-coding a good product is still very hard..
requires a good understanding of what you're trying to build, UX, & hella back/forth to translate your vision to the agent
creating a product that you expect 1000's of people to use requires a lot of testing + attention to detail, it's not the same as building quick internal tools that only serve one purpose
Yeah let’s give AI a demon suit and let it play with children
Honestly you can’t be considered a person if you buy one of these so maybe it’s okay
Introducing Hugo: the first human companion robot.
At Boston Dynamics, I was Chief Strategy Officer, bringing robots into the real world.
My co-founder, Farbod Farshidian, led research at the RAI Institute.
Together, 15+ years teaching robots to run, jump, and work.
So we asked: what if robots could connect with people?
Hugo runs on the first Vision-Language-Expression (VLE) model.
He links what he sees and hears to movement, expression, and gesture.
He notices you, reads the room, and reacts in real time.
And he's only the first.
Dynamic Creatures is @BostonDynamics' official entertainment and hospitality partner.
We're building a cast of characters with film studios, resorts, and theme parks.

I love seeing posts like this because you can try to reason why this was said or you can decide whatever you woke up thinking was actually groundbreaking Because it happened.
and the anon friend probably has reason behind it so you multiply those factors together now we’re up fcking Massive right out the gate day just started
Now we’re up multiples on every single skeptic on the planet. also invented that math today which probably adds validity to it because it was on this special day
the final boss in crypto is something people want to use every day that doesn’t involve gambling
wearing a smart watch is just as bad as getting covid jab
actually even worse. negative infinity opsec
