We're just here for the food.
We manage more wildlife habitat than any other federal agency, helping to ensure self-sustaining, abundant and diverse populations of wildlife on public lands - so squirrels (and other animals) can find the resources they need.

President Biden has become the biggest public land defender in the history of US Presidents and with 674 MILLION acres of lands and water protected.
And we got to attend the signing ceremony celebrating the efforts of everyone that made it possible.
Did you know there is a small population of these in the new #ChuckwallaNationalMonument? True!
🐭: What long ears you have!
🦉: The better to hear you with, my dear.
Long-eared owls can be found across much of the country in the winter. Watch for them in hunting for small mammals in open grasslands near wooded areas.

Setting up in an established campsite or deep in the backcountry, we still want to preserve the areas natural beauty. A good campsite is found, not made. Leave your site looking better than you found it.

.@CAgovernor—over 100 groups urge you to fund the 43 projects pending at @CaliforniaWCB! To meet the state's #30x30CA goals for #conservation, #biodiversity, & #climateaction, we can't wait. Sudden funding delays will cause these projects to fail, halting CA's climate progress.
