If you put effort into two goals at the same time You won't succeed in either one This felt like a personal attack (I was super guilty of doing that) Except I was chasing 20 rabbits And you already guessed it I wasn't making any progress I made some changes, all have helped me massively ➳──────➳──────➳ 1) Write a list of the most important tasks - Use deep work sessions - No task switching - No distractions If you don't have a clear path It's inevitable that you'll wander off I don't want to wander off I just want to go straight from A → B And move on with my day Having a task list means • Less time wasted • More direct path taken • Sense of accomplishment When tasks are scattered and we switch often We don't appreciate the progress as much And this can lead to feeling like you're behind Which for me, creates anxiety You'll become - More focused - More productive - More relaxed, knowing that shit got handled ➳──────➳──────➳ 2) Stop changing your mind Someone is making $1m+ per week selling - Potatoes - Lightbulbs - Plug sockets The point being It doesn't matter which thing you choose The thing that works is the thing that you stick to The thing that you compound your • Skills • Money • Relationships In If you constantly start from zero in your endeavours You just won't make the big strides that you're after ➳──────➳──────➳ 3) Take a fucking chill pill If you're grinding away Not doing these things I just mentioned You're probably burnt the fuck out And you need to take a fucking chill pill (was what I wish someone told me 18 months ago) In the last 3 weeks I've - Made more money - Been less stressed - Felt calmer and less anxious All because I just took a break Instead of doing work every day I'm now working on my biz 4 days instead of 7 The reason being I prioritised my business at the expense of everything else Which helped with progress But it ruined every other aspect of my life - Health - Sanity - Relationship The whole point of doing this is to build our freedom Not build our prison ➳──────➳──────➳ TL:DR 1) Make a focused list of important tasks 2) Stick with one idea, make progress in that 3) Take a fucking chill pill and don't ruin your life for your business Enjoy your day!
