Schools need certainty, not the chaos that is created when the state can’t finish a budget on time. #miched #mileg
Opinion | Michigan’s legislators and governor need to pass a K-12 budget now bit.ly/4eepXqG
This Georgia/Ole Miss game has ended 3 times. I feel bad for the players having to keep going back on the field. Refs miss calls but at the end of this one, with the stage on the field and celebration started they enforce a clock reset. Twice.
So proud of these boys. The seniors are kids that Noah helped with conditioning in DJP and announced for, so it’s extra cool.

Michigan misses budget deadline, but Gov. Gretchen Whitmer says state operations will continue.

We still have no details about a School Aid budget or if/how they will fill the $750M hole in school funding created by their sales tax shift on fuel to fund roads #mileg #4days
A few days before Michigan lawmakers will vote on a new budget, schools have little to no idea what their funding plan will be.

Here's a story you may have missed yesterday, but an important one.

Michigan has the funds, this delay is of the Legislature’s own making.
School groups held a press conference today to urge our elected leaders to pass a School Aid budget that is both right & right now. Speaking on behalf of school board members was Kimberly May, board president for Wayne-Westland Community Schools #miched

AOC: I saw on Fox, Jeanine Pirro says that they found so many babies and two year olds and four year olds receiving social security. I got a notice for you Jeanine Pirro: those babies receive social security because their parents died. That’s not a waste. That’s humanity. That’s America. That’s the country that we fight for.
