My goal with paleoart is to depict extinct animals as naturally as possible; both the weird and wonderful aspects of natural animal life will be depicted in my artwork and if you have an issue with that it's best you don't follow me

Somewhere in South America, 240 million years ago, lived a fuzzy, little archosaur, unaware of the dynasty it will bring forth.

Texas, 65 million years ago. Dry conditions turn the once lush woodlands into a matchbox. While most denizens flee the advancing flames, opportunists like these Quetzalcoatlus northropi seek out the inferno, picking off any too slow to escape the blaze.

So I looked at Tromerosaurus’ skeleton and I was like eh, looks like every other tyrannosaur… so I was like lets make it distinctive with some speculative soft tissue and it ended up being a living duckbill lure #aggressivemimicry :B

Can't get my mind off certain animals some time. I have tons of doodles of Therizinosaurus using it's claws. Newest idea: why should their keratin sheet look like the bone below? Preening claws in birds are great example of this. So why not play a little with that.
