i read/inhaled it last night. and i was like hey, if someone as lovely and cool as melly can take a year to write a chapter, then maybe i can do this ch 6 of rubies…and then this afternoon i finally wrote an opening i was 80% happy. so big thanks to melly and specifically “freckles” for its transformative courage in me.
