For my last article @TheVarsity, I dug into the freedom convoy donations and found $11,000+ coming from university email addresses, including the emails of 20 faculty (2 of whom confirmed they donated)
One prof said he gave because he's opposed to "all mandates"
The Varsity’s follow-up analysis shows that a total of 101 donations, worth 11,536 USD in total, were made using email addresses from Canadian universities. One further donation of 500 USD was made from a personal email address of a U of T alum.
