You're always in for a treat tasting a washed Ethiopian from @ghowellcoffee - and the Reko is certainly no exception!
Positive: Mandarin orange, floral - violet, browning sugars on the nose. Stone fruit, cocoa and raspberry, ceylon tea finish. Silky body.
As always, these cupping notes/scores are from a blind cupping. The coffee reviewed this week is @ghowellcoffee's Ethiopian - Reko.

We've all such short memories, don't we? Cold brew is vile. Remember?! – at Hackney, London
I am expecting some coffees from @ghowellcoffee and will post my notes from one (or some) of them next week!
This is a really stellar coffee. Any amazing demonstration of terroir and variety being distinct yet balanced in the cup. @coffeeshrub
Positive: Floral, white peach. Milk chocolate, honey, vanilla, butter, cardamom. Incredibly complex. Negative: none.
These notes are from a blind cupping. The coffee being reviewed is @coffeeshrub's Acatenango Gesha.
I plan to post reviews of coffees roasted by other roasters here. This first post, however, will be a review from a sample from @coffeeshrub
If there is any coffee you would like to see thrown into this social media mess let me know and I'll try to make it happen.
