I am delighted to be supporting the Sunday Times (@thetimes) Get Britain Reading campaign. The cold truth is that Britain is facing a reading crisis. As a nation we are losing the habit of reading for pleasure which is DISASTROUS for our children. How do we change that? Well, you can start by joining me in spending at least 10 minutes a day reading to yourself or to someone else, just for the fun of it. Click on the link below, enter your email address and take the campaign pledge. You'll get a six-week newsletter to guide you with ideas, book recommendations and reading tips. Fun! Go on. Do it right now! #GetBritainReading
