We built two tokens to fool our own simulator. One takes 5% on every transfer. One lets you buy and refuses the sale.
A swap-only check passes both. CULET caught the tax at exactly 5.00% and stopped at the refused sale. The test file is public.
Not every expensive pool is a trap. Some launch pools take a creator tax on the way in and again on the way out.
One we graded keeps 20.77% on a round trip, all through its hook and 0% through the fee. Fine if you know. Expensive if you don't.

Trap pools peaked in the week of July 20, when 52.7% of new v4 pools on Robinhood Chain were created with a fee above 50%.
Last full week it was 16.5%. Fewer, still thousands a week.

Symbols on Robinhood Chain are not unique. In the trap pools we grade, GME is not GameStop, BTC is not Bitcoin, and some USDG is not USDG.
Read the address, not the ticker. CULET only searches by address.
In October, about $102M left 335 wallets after their recovery phrases leaked. Bitquery traced the pattern: approve, then pull, seconds apart.
If a key may be exposed, move funds first. Then check what the old wallet still allows.
