Narendra Modi’s party had used sleazy political tactics and its control of institutions to break up rival state parties and lure away their lawmakers. Voters accepted that. Under dispute now is whether the game itself is fixed economist.com/asia/2026/10/1…

Modi desperately wants this documentary erased from the internet. Many users have also been forced to delete it.
If you haven’t watched it yet, now is the time! Give it 36 minutes. You won’t regret it.

Future generations may well look back at the Modi era as India’s Pitch-Black Age – an age of darkness, opacity and destruction.
The BJP has not only left no stone unturned to dismantle our social fabric, damage our economy and undermine our politics; it has also waged a relentless war on our environment, displaying repeated disregard for the preservation of India’s extraordinary biodiversity.
No educated person in their right mind would oversee such widespread destruction of sensitive ecosystems.
That is why we have stopped demanding to see Modi's “Entire Political Science” degree. That debate is settled, albeit indirectly.
Mumbai's Thane Coastal Road-2 will go ahead on its original route through the buffer zone of the Thane Creek Flamingo Sanctuary, affecting 3,754 mangroves, after the state’s coastal zone authority dropped its demand for a realignment.
Of the 3,754 trees, 680 spread over 1.7 hectares will be lost for good, because they stand where the elevated road’s piers will be built.

apparently, words like chapri, dehati and chammar being casually used to demean people weren't enough to spark any kind of outrage over "classism" and "casteism" but calling a fascist pm a "chaiwala" in a specific context with a solid reason to back it, is suddenly classist. Ok.
