Currently on day 2 of hosting the SUA, with 14 unis represented and 4 quarter peals rung already. We've had an 8-bell striking competition and much stealing of mascots so far, plus plenty of open ringing, with lots more still to come!

We're at the Freshers' Fair again this year making plenty of noise with the Charmborough Ring, come and find us!

It's been an exciting few weeks! We spent 5 days in Beverley for our annual Guild Week, ringing at 5 or 6 towers each day. We rang a wide variety of methods from Stedman Singles up to Cinques, with lots in between. (1/?)

2 quarters and 3 peals were scored during Guild Week itself, with some staying in Yorkshire for a few more days before the Guild's first 12 bell peal since 2019 was scored: Stedman Cinques at Hull, congratulations to all the bands! bb.ringingworld.co.uk/event.… (3/?)

Many thanks to Alan and Marj for organising Guild Week this year, which was very successful with over 40 people attending over the 5 days. It was great to get to know some of the older members of the Guild, and there is already plenty of excitement about future Guild Weeks! (4/4)

Despite it being the middle of the Summer, the Guild has been quite busy as of late. (1/n)

This thread ends here, but there's plenty more to come, because Guild Week is coming up next week. For those not in the know, that's a ringing tour consisting of general ringing at several towers each day, plus some quarter and peal attempts. (7/n)

This year, Guild Week will be based in Yorkshire. Attendees will be Guild members young and old, and it should be a fantastic opportunity for plenty of ringing and socialising! You can be fairly sure of fairly comprehensive details being posted here soon! (8/8)

Our number 2 google search term, evidently, has been "cambridge cathedral." Don't tell @Ely_Cathedral (but do go visit Ely Cathedral, which you can see from our tower!)
