Like it feels so unnatural to say “oh I’m from the United States” to me because ?? I dont even know it’s just like maybe it’s a me thing but I think of the states as their own respective places and I forget we’re all technically from the same country.

Yeah cali is technically part of my country but I’m from the whole other side of the US. I live in the Appalachian Mountains 😭😭 hell I barely even think of rural PA and Pittsburgh as the same damn state. Like babe my neighbors are Amish
