Black Hole is a brand new work premiering at Art Basel. At the center of the spiral is a panoptic surveillance camera, a “black hole” that tracks and capture the gaze of the viewers, registering their presence as a biometric input that activates and transforms the work. The piece draws attention to the seductions of visibility—recognition, inclusion, and self-imaging —while simultaneously exposing the camera as a device of predatory vision. In this way, the installation reflects on contemporary cultures of metrics and surveillance, where seeing oneself is inseparable from being measured.

Curated in dialogue with our upcoming publication, The Liminal Review: New Signals in Arts Technologies, this collection explores immersive worlds, sonic performance, algorithmic poetics, ecological systems, and generative works from The 2025 Lumen Prize applicants, offering new ways of seeing how technology becomes a language for cultural transformation.
The screening will loop throughout the weekend, giving you plenty of opportunity to drop in and explore the full program.

CLOUD SCRIPTS is a generative art installation, a conceptual machine, that explores the asemic nature of Daoist Cloud Seals (Yúnzhuàn 雲篆) as a form of communication between humans and the spiritual world.
By extracting a corpus of ‘Cloud Seals’ from Daoist scriptures and training trained on a fine tuned Gen Ai model, the installation generates a series of talismans. These talismans, devoid of specific pictorial meaning, symbolize my desire to engage in a dialogue
