This is a big one. Merchants now have access to Customer Account Extensions.
That means you can add features to customer accounts, like loyalty programs, wishlists, and post-purchase offers, without touching code. Until now, this required edits to the .liquid template. We knew we could make it easier.
Starting today, you can use apps—and there are already hundreds in the App Store. The same way Checkout Extensions lets you customize the checkout experience, Customer Account Extensions let you customize customer accounts.
More customer account updates:
👤 Branded login pages: Design choices, like color and typography, that you make in the checkout and accounts editor will now carry over to login for brand consistency from start to finish. This is a big upgrade from only being able to add your logo.
👤 Customizable header menus: Add, remove and rename pages to make the customer experience easier to navigate.
All of these updates work together to create a smoother logged-in experience for your customers.
