Even tho my daughter sees a lot of Lauren she couldn’t sleep with the excitement of this today. I’m not one for celebrating much but what an impact these Europeans have had on athletics this past week! Long may it last!

Absolutely furious at the stupid, useless racists spewing hate while Rhashidat Adeleke is going out on the track and giving her all for Ireland, revelling in flying the flag with pride and working so hard to be the best
@rhasidatadeleke you’re the best of us and we love you. 🇮🇪

So proud of Phil. She’s been at the forefront of Irish sprinting for years now with not much payoff. Her humility is so admirable and she always champions those athletes we don’t see in the background. Now she finally has her first championship medal! Hopefully more to come 😭🥈
Everyone in West Cork will be smiling as much as @philhealy2 after she won her first senior international medal. From a farm in Knockaneady to the podium in Rome, what a journey!

To all in the MNW constituency, please consider giving @saoirse_mchugh your #1 vote come Friday. She's one of the good ones, I can assure you. She genuinely cares about the environment and is an all-round good person. She's not afraid to stand up for what she believes in either.

If I were living in Ireland's Midlands North West constituency, there's ZERO doubt in my mind who I'd be voting for on Friday.
@saoirse_mchugh is a candidate with unrivalled integrity + understanding of all the issues that *really* count. Please give her your no. 1 if you can.
