How we feeling, #RaiderNation?! 🏴
The Raiders are 3–0, and I’ve got my theme song for the week on repeat:
“The Autumn Wind”

Just win, baby! #RaiderNation
Why does Kirk Cousins get zero respect? His career numbers speak for themselves:
• 6th all-time in completion percentage
• 96.8 career passer rating
• 14th all-time with 304 passing TDs (and counting)
• Top 20 all-time in passing yards
Whatever you think of him, that resume deserves more respect. #RaiderNation
Isn't awesome that a week one match between the @49ers and @LARamsTime is played in Australia and will be broadcast at 1230am on the east coast.
Is the @NFL trying to make us not watch games live.

I hate these AI-generated revenge stories.
It’s always:
HOA President: “Paint your fence.”
Homeowner: “No.”
HOA President: smirks
Homeowner: quietly attends HOA meeting
HOA President: smirks again
Homeowner: opens folder revealing he secretly bought the entire neighborhood
HOA President: face goes pale
Everyone: stunned silence
Homeowner: delivers line written for a 1997 Steven Seagal movie
Please stop. Nobody believes this happened.

I recently launched my portfolio:
BobbyDavisJr.com
It covers more than 30 years of work, including Core Techs, Coder Foundry, Advanced Fraud Solutions, and several recent software projects.
I built the site to show both what I have worked on and how I approach business, technology, and software development.
Take a look. Feedback is welcome.

I updated chatgpt today and codex is gone. What @OpenAI ? I cannot switch modes like you suggest because there is no option available.

You know we can still write code. Not everything is or should be prompt. Not mention security, cost , scalability concerns with this approach.
The Raiders having zero primetime games is a sign that the NFL has nothing but disdain for the silver and black.
A message to the world that we’re irrelevant.
That we’d be buried before the season even starts.
But what the NFL meant for evil may have accidentally saved the Raiders season.
They forgot Kirk Cousins’ greatest superpower:
1PM football.
Kirk Cousins in non-primetime games: 73-56-2 (.565)
That projects to 10-7 over a full season.
The Raiders are going to make the playoffs because the NFL tried to bury us.

AI is making it dramatically easier to build advanced web experiences, such as WebGL, shaders, 3D interfaces, and highly interactive UI.
But that’s not the right question.
The real question is: should we be using them in web applications?
In most cases, the answer is still no.
Business applications succeed on:
Speed
Clarity
Usability
Maintainability
Not visual complexity.
Technologies like WebGL absolutely have their place in product visualization, data storytelling, and immersive experiences, but they are still the exception, not the rule.
AI lowers the barrier to building complex interfaces.
It does not remove the responsibility to choose the right tool.
Just because we can build it… doesn’t mean we should.
OpenAI put rate limits on Codex, and now I've got range anxiety 😅
I feel like I’m trying to drive an electric car from NC to CA on one charge.
Just got 5h rate limited by @OpenAI Codex.
I didn’t realize Codex needed to take smoke breaks…
So much for AI working 24/7, apparently, it clocks out mid-shift and leaves me holding the keyboard.
