⌛️Tactical pauses at the Cologne Major are finally here⌛️
Check it out the whole thread to see nice information 🧶
Starting with this graph: Pause conversion vs Pauses per map.
There is one outstanding point here, Spirit almost didn't pause the games at all, Mr. Jab Jabich prefers to have their players flowing. They only had 0.5 pauses per map (excluding Overtimes) and by far it is the lowest one.
There was a playoff game, with 4 overtimes, between G2 where Spirit only had 2 pauses, meanwhile G2 paused 7 times! Well to be honest Spirit end up winning anyways, but how would it be if they used more of their pauses and had some external point of view?
I found something very curious about FURIA's CT-side pistols on cache.
They have a surprisingly low win rate, 23% 👀
Now comes the weird part: they bought a defuse kit in 7 out of 13 rounds, and lost 6 of them (including yesterday's round)
I'm not saying they lose because of that, but that's a very specific choice from them. Among the top teams, they are definitely the ones who buy defuse kits most often on pistols.
- Vitality bought 1 out of 8 rounds
- Spirit 3 out of 9
- MOUZ 0 out of 7
- Aurora 0 out of 8
Yesterday we saw a lot of post-pistol break rounds, which as we know, affect a lot team's economy.
Got curious and I checked which teams are best in that situation
1. Mouz: 35.2%
2. G2: 24.1%
3. Navi: 23.7%
I see a pattern that all those teams are well known to have very tactical coaches 👀
Good morning everyone 🌞

Hey mate, I got offered the same deal from Sashi.
The contract is for 2 months. Then they kick you. That's not investing in a region, that's being a parasite to the region.
The players are never to blame, but the system that allows it to happen in a very clearly parasitic way is
Valve is so good on communicating things to the community that they do a huge update in their rulebook and we discover by a commit on Github ☠️
I was playing around with the positions in which the awpers are when they have the AWP scope open and I've generated this heatmap 👇
It is CT side only and it displays the positions where the player spend more "time" with the open scope in general (not by round)
It's nice to see the different positions they prefer in the map.
You can also see some aggressive plays, like molodoy progressing on B site
It wasn't the point of the post, but now I'm curious who the pro players with the most Faceit matches are 🤔
Should I spend my night on that?

Think my sims are pure waffle? I dont blame you
VRS is very confusing, its closed and its not easy. I want to change that
Introducing OpenVRS: Full auditable sim data, plan your calendar, compare event worth, test roster changes and a lot more. Explanation ⬇️ (lots of waffle)
Is just me, or Rebels jersey is actually one of the best jerseys in CS2 right now? 🤔
What are the best jerseys in 2026?
We think we've made you wait long enough.
It's time to get back on the server ⌛
The next chapter of the Jogos Rebeldes starts now.

Jame is the player with most collateral kills in 2026 🤯
Most of them was with an AWP, but he also had one with a Glock!
(Tier S tournaments only)
I was doing some analysis on the 2026 tournament data, and one question randomly came to mind:
Who is the player with the most collateral kills this year (tier S tournament only)? Any guesses?
I'm gonna post it later, but the answer is a bit unexpected 👀
Crazy the paiN downfall 😢
They were the best brazilian team at some point and now they are not even qualifying to major
Updated Americas Major race prediction
(Before any matches today - Sunday Sep 20th)
- Legacy and FURIA looks to take Stage 3 invites
- 9z favorite to take stage 2 invite with their 3 tier 1 events, but they will need to win some matches at some point, good chances in EPL and PGL due to both events having 4 CQ spots with teams from outside tier 1.
- MIBR locked in for the major, but no more tier 1 invites for now, so they need to get their remaining LAN wins and see how 9z do if they look at the stage 2 invite.
- Liquid still needs to pick up wins, more so for getting into contention for next seasons invites. AM major invite in itself doesn't mean you are back in tier 1 invite range!
- M80 already completed most LAN wins and just need to finish the job with a few more wins. Statistically safe.
- DENDELE and NRG frontrunners for major spots, but still needs to actually win the projected LAN wins.
- Wildcard is in best position of the rest due to high quality online wins, but has not actually gotten a single LAN win yet, so needs to fill that bucket.
- The rest still have a good chance if one of the above fails and they go on a LAN win spree themselves.
Still about the new map, cache.
Here are the most frequent positions where a player was blinded.
Making this plot made me wonder if teams actually study opponents' frequent positions to tailor flash peeks against specific teams. Any insight on that @STYKOcs ?
(This plot filters out positions where the player was blinded for less than 1 seg)
Data from EWC 2026 and Blast Porto.
We already had 2 Tier S tournaments with our lovely new map in competitive, Cache.
What are you thinking about the map, good vibes?
I'm going to make a thread about the map (maybe after Starladder), but I was playing around with some data about AWPers and 👇
Here it is all Sh1ro's first peeks on the map (before 25 segs).
I chose him because he has one of the best stats so far.
He tends to almost ignore mid at the beginning of the rounds, and most of the time on the CT side, he focuses on A site.
I would like some feedback from the audience, do you think this type of visualization good?
Should I make more? maybe comparing players?
@smartbackwards @NER0cs @LuzRaposa maybe some feedback from the GOATs 😃
