Incredibly proud of both my grandmothers ( they were twins and so somehow they were both my Mimmas - though of course one had to be Bodo (elder) and one Chotto (younger)) What phenomenal talents and extraordinary women they were!

An exhibition of photographs in Calcutta that brings together the works of 1919-born twin sisters, Debalina Mazumder and Manobina Roy, who were among the first Indian women to pick up a camera. Manobina also happened to be married to legendary filmmaker Bimal Roy.
