1/2 The Mayors/ Provosts element of the ‘debate’ is dispiriting - I remember when @csppscotland we ran an event on #DirectlyElectedMayors in Holyrood and it was boycotted by MSPs who didn’t like the name, rather than engage in debate on their form and function 🤦🏻♂️

Interesting initiative here to rebalance relationship btwn #PeopleAndPlace where a sense of common ownership is keenly felt in the hearts n minds of the local population - nice one @JoeJFagan delivering on towns policy work we developed together @csppscotland ‘a few years’ ago!
