Wooh, such a cool example!
Replying to @brshallo
You'd be pleasantly surprised to know that you can use if_all()/if_any() inside mutate/summarize/etc. too 😬
IIRC the dplyr devs also found this by accident after releasing the update introducing them!

In the past year, I’ve talked to many bright, curious, ambitious people who believed they couldn’t do research. That was me, not long ago.
Here I share my improved understanding in hopes of offering a more empowering model of what research entails:

Students in my #rstats working sessions were hoping to learn a little more Git/GitHub. So in a 2nd session I focus on merge conflicts and pull requests.
I'm betting I'll find a lot of things I want to change after the session. 🙃

BIG NEWS!!! COAS Deans Rick Van Kooten and Padraic Kenney confirmed that COAS will be giving its grad workers raises across the board to $18,000 by Fall 2021! Solidarity with our colleagues in French and Italian who were able to confirm that this is the immediate plan for COAS!

.@allison_horst and I created an illustrated series about tidy data and why it’s such a powerful concept for data analysis. Tidy data helps you be more efficient, reproducible, and collaborative. Why? Thread 1/9:

Statistical Rethinking 2nd edition page now lists code conversions for:
* raw Stan+tidyverse
* brms+tidyverse
* PyMC3
* Tensorflow Probability
* Julia & Turing
I know other conversions in the works. If I have missed something, please let me know. xcelab.net/rm/statistical-re…

Every few days there’s a tweet asking how to make academic websites. This is great, everyone should have their own site! My guide is sometimes mentioned too, which is also great, but some don’t know I’ve made THREE versions: A thread, blog post, and video. Here they are ⤵️

If you’re an academic you need a website so that people can easily find info about your research and publications. Here’s how to make your own website for free in around an hour using the blogdown package in #Rstats [UPDATED 2019 THREAD]

Going over @rlmcelreath's latest book in #rstats. However, I am using #tidyverse tools. So far, I have watched the lectures, completed homework for week 1 and the exercises in chapter 2 of the book. Hope to make it till the end!
Btw, the book is amazing.

A “keep calm & carry on” attitude does NOT mean going out and socializing to show you’re not scared during a global pandemic, any more than it meant for Londoners to keep their lights on during blackouts in the Blitz. We stay strong by changing our routines to keep EVERYONE safe.
