Why is testing flows with webhooks in @klaviyo so frustrating? Is it too much to ask for vetted test email accounts? This is ridiculous. πŸ˜”

One of the biggest quality-of-life improvements I've had lately is disabling native browser autofill. I don't know why it took me so long.

Thank you to @brainlid and @bernheisel for being in my ear for the last 6 years. Your dedication to the community and diligence to showing up nearly every week since you started is nothing short of remarkable. We will miss you!
It’s true! After 6 years of weekly episodes, the Thinking Elixir Podcast will be ending on June 23rd. Three episodes left. It’s been an incredible run and I’m grateful for every listener who came along for the journey. #podcast #MyElixirStatus #ElixirLang

Repost and reply for a chance to win this autographed Paul Skenes @Topps card!
Paul Skenes turns 24 today! Last year, Skenes became only the third pitcher to win the Rookie of the Year and Cy Young within the first two seasons of his career, following: Fernando Valenzuela (ROY & Cy Young 1981) Dwight Gooden (ROY 1984, Cy Young 1985)

The BEAM and Elixir are so underrated The paper "A Universal Modular ACTOR Formalism for Artificial Intelligence" by Carl Hewitt, Peter Bishop and Richard Steiger (ijcai.org/Proceedings/73/Pap…) laid out the entire theoretical foundation for AI systems in 1973. No global state, message-passing actors, fault isolation, parallelism as a first-class citizen, and every data structure just being an actor in disguise. The BEAM has been running that exact model in production for 40 years. Erlang/OTP wasn't inspired by AI research by accident. It is that research, hardened by telecoms. Jido takes this further. Every agent is an Actor. Skills, sensors, signals, and state machines compose through message passing. Supervision trees mean agents fail and recover without cascading collapse. You get Hewitt's "society of actors" but fault-tolerant, distributed, and deployable. Most AI frameworks are built on Python threads and vibes. Jido is built on 50 years of the right theory. Hey Elixir people, what would you think about a version of Instructor that doesn't use Ecto at all? You can just inline types, and progressively enhance them with docs and validators without wrestling with changeset functions? #myelixirstatus retweet for visibility plz

BREAKING: The magnitude 7.0 #earthquake 45 miles offshore of Eureka, California occurred where the Pacific Plate and the Gorda Plate slide past each other. Most of the slip was lateral, reducing the risk of a severe #tsunami, but some was thrust (up/down), which makes waves.

This is such an underrated observation. The FAANG companies lose so much money due to their tech choices.
So the only meta service which currently works is the one powered by Erlang? πŸ€” That's a good intro to #CodeBEAM

This new year I’m debating leaving Firefox for Safari as my primary browser. (Dev work will likely stay in FF/Chrome) I’m tempted to try Arc, but I can’t live without profiles and mobile sync.
