Startups are such a different beast to work at than a megacorp like a FAANG. The idea that someone who works at a FAANG can "just start a company" and have it succeed is laughable. They're completely different animals.

Don鈥檛 think I鈥檇 want the Twitter job (it鈥檚 probably a world of pain, 10x more brutal than running for federal office lol) and can think of several others (@elonmusk himself, @DavidSacks) who would be better at it anyways. But if I were CEO here鈥檚 how I鈥檇 think about it.

Per usual with my viral tweet threads about tech and tech culture, those inside tech are DM'ing me high fives, and all the outsiders who've never spent a day in a tech job are absolutely furious.
