There is a valid argument in terms of revenue sustainability with gacha machines.
That beeing said would you rather own $HYPE at 115x sales to FDV or solana:CARDSccUMFKoPRZxt5vt3ksUbxEFEcnZ3H2pd3dKxYjp at 6X (both trailing 12 months numbers)
Add on: one is still growing really fast
Collector Crypt entered the exclusive club of just 5 projects in crypto generating more than $1M USD in daily revenue.
Tether val: 500B
Hype val: 84B
Circle val: 22B
Pump val: 5.5B
solana:CARDSccUMFKoPRZxt5vt3ksUbxEFEcnZ3H2pd3dKxYjp val: 0.5B
The level of undervaluation here is getting kinda ridiculous at this point.

NEW AI CUSTOMER BUYS 3,000 HOURS OF NATIX DRIVING DATA 🚗
We've signed a six-figure deal with an AI lab pioneering general world models. Real demand for DePIN on @solana.
Not a research collab. Not a free dataset. A paying customer.

Hare by @GSR_io. The credit desk for onchain finance.
GSR launches Hare alongside @turtledotxyz, bringing trading and liquidity expertise to vault curation.
Supported by @aave, @PaxosLabs, @chainlink and @HypernativeLabs. Our first two vaults are coming soon.

One of the biggest opportunity zone in liquid markets right now is still businesses that chose a token as their ownership structure and are therefore mispriced.
My best example is always solana:7JA5eZdCzztSfQbJvS8aVVxMFfd81Rs9VvwnocV1mKHu.
It is NOT a crypto business, the same way Amazon isn't in the equity business. They are crushing it in their industry, though. You just have to approach it differently and step out of CT bubble and learn a new field if you want to invest in them.
Differnet markets but similar ownership projects like @grass, @silencioNetwork, @OVRtheReality, @NATIXNetwork or @onocoyRTK are heavily overlooked right now.
You can see it in the price action: the ones performing best are those who found pmf, maybe moats and good sales pipelines.
An underappreciated skill is knowing how to talk to investors and doing the best job of educating their investor base (people who invested in SoV assets and DeFi). IMO, @GEODNET did this by far the best: they never cared about narrative and delivered on fundamentals, while choosing @Blockworks early as their partner to present their business. @mikeahorton is doing what a public market CEO would do, since those investing long-term need assurances and ways to constantly underwrite the business. Focus on longterm investors and ignore traders.
The wind is changing, and more founders are starting to see that this is part of their business. Not everyone is operating on their or @grass 's level when it comes to investor relations right now, but its memetic. Those who weren't as transparent but have good fundamentals will feel the difference which will start change.
You can't just bid "DePIN" and expect to hit it big, but it definitely feels like seeing early DeFi in liquid markets, even though there's obviously not as much beta to the underlying SoV.
Valuations have hit levels similar to 2019 DeFi coins.
Your job is not to buy the category but find generational winners.

America will have so much success in crypto that europe will be forced to change in the next years
Disappointed by the European Central Bank’s (ECB) and European Banking Authority’s (EBA) responses to the MiCA consultation.
They are not only advocating for a prohibition on paying yield on stablecoins, but also for restrictions on CASPs providing access to DeFi, including protocols offering yield on non-MiCA-authorized stablecoins, without providing a clear framework for how access to DeFi should work in practice.
They also suggest that CASPs offering access to DeFi should restrict it to certain groups of users through so-called “suitability tests,” alongside a potential certification regime for DeFi lending protocols.
It is unclear how these requirements would work in practice. If regulators determine which protocols are deemed suitable for European users, the result risks looking very different from the open DeFi that exists today.
Instead, we could end up with more walled gardens that undermine the liquidity and network effects of open financial networks, ultimately limiting Europeans’ ability to access new ways to grow and preserve wealth.
These proposals are presented as measures to “protect consumers.” But excessive restrictions can instead create more friction for innovation and slow the development of open, transparent, and auditable financial infrastructure that can benefit consumers.
The reality is that onchain finance, including stablecoins, DeFi, and tokenized securities, has the potential to reshape financial infrastructure by reducing friction, increasing transparency, and expanding access to financial opportunities.
European consumers and businesses stand to benefit significantly from this transformation, particularly if the companies building this infrastructure can continue to build and compete from within Europe.
Meanwhile, U.S. regulators, including the SEC and CFTC, have increasingly taken a more pragmatic approach toward enabling onchain financial innovation.
European regulators should put users and their interests at the center of the framework. Banks and other incumbents should be able to adapt their businesses to serve users in an increasingly onchain economy, rather than relying on artificial restrictions that risk increasing costs and reducing access for Europeans as the rest of the world moves onchain.
DeFi will win.
I hear a lot from investors that crypto isn't on the frontier anymore. I actually agree, in a sense, but not with their conclusion. Not being on the frontier means we no longer burn money on experimentation and mapping out the industry. We know what works. What comes next is market expansion, like what @Collector_Crypt showed with collectibles: crypto becoming the home for collectibles, and later for asset management.
What does this mean for asset allocation? Frontier investing thrives on reflexivity and is often far more narrative-driven than investing in the synergy phase.
The Nasdaq after 2000 is often cited as a comparison but now is when the industry's winners are being built, and portfolios can reflect a much longer time horizon than they could a few years ago. Major public-market compounders are in the making in areas where the moats are already too big to challenge. At the same time, there are huge opportunities for late- or last-mover advantages, especially given how complex company setups in this industry tend to be.
Now is a great time to challenge incumbents, inside and outside of crypto, where they aren't yet cemented, and to double down on the public companies/tokens that have already won.
First-mover advantages are highly overrated. It often takes several iterations, in the form of multiple companies, to make something work
Do want to chase the high of being on the frontier again or make money?
Blockworks will completely dominate this new era
No tam maxxers in here
Investors are overindexing on huge TAMs and grand visions, just for the sake of it.
But the greatest companies in the world didn't start that way. They started as niche ideas that evolved into leaders of entirely new categories nobody could have imagined at the time.
Amazon was an online bookstore. Airbnb was renting out air mattresses. Nvidia made chips for gamers. YouTube was a video online dating platform.
None of these were giant TAM pitches, they were simply obsessions that outgrew their category.
Just give me a passionate founder and a dream, I'll take that over a bs vision or pseudo TAM slide every single time.

Unpopular opinion:
Former DePINs might be some of the most undervalued AI plays right now.
Yes, DePIN had a lot of issues, and hence a very underwhelming token performance. The negative association is definitely understandable.
But what most people don't realize is that thanks to those token incentives, most of these projects are now sitting on incredible data pools. Exactly the kind of data pools the biggest frontier AI labs have insatiable demand for, since data is their single biggest bottleneck in winning the most important tech race humanity has ever seen.
Just to name a few:
@silencioNetwork - $SLC
@OVRtheReality - $OVR
@NATIXNetwork - $NATIX
@grass - $GRASS
And probably a bunch of exciting ones I don't even have on my radar yet (if so, please DM).
I know in fact that these are already working with leading AI labs or well-known big tech companies as actual paying clients, generating serious offchain revenue. More than most of your favorite shitcoins do. And if you do your research, you'll understand that it takes time for that offchain revenue to accrue, but there's strong commitment to route it back to their tokens.
I know it's hard, but instead of chasing memecoins or bidding the same 5 hyped onchain businesses everyone already knows, I can only strongly recommend digging deeper here.
Generational opportunities to be found in DePIN, or whatever you might want to call it nowadays.

What if bond yields are going up because the market expects tremendous growth, equities to skyrocket and investors are demanding higher returns from bonds
