TradingView just released its first public statement on the reverse-engineered TradingView Premium from GitHub
They said they have no problem with it, but asked for the repo to be closed and said they're planning to collaborate with the devs
The first right move they've ever made
TradingView is actively trying to take this down
The reverse-engineered TradingView Premium GitHub repo just went private again after hitting 53.4k stars
This is the only version that has access to real-time and historical data by mirroring the official TV servers
You can still access the GitHub repo and the Reverse Community Discord through this version desktop apps for Windows and Mac
Will this stop TradingView from being greedy?
TradingView will soon be gone
One of the devs behind reverse-engineered TradingView Premium said they'll soon release an activator that can activate a Premium or Ultimate subscription on your official TV account
Insanity
TradingView might be going out of business
The reverse-engineered TradingView repo was trending at #1 on GitHub with 2.7k daily stars, bringing the total to 51.3k in a matter of weeks
The devs also announced that the repo is going private because of huge traffic
You can now only access the GitHub repo through the local reverse-engineered TV apps for Windows and Mac
I guess everything is open source now
How is this even possible?
Some dude logged into his TradingView account after using reverse-engineered Premium from GitHub and found he had a Premium subscription on his main account
Apparently, it generated an official license key that activated Premium across all devices, including mobile
You can access the repo through the local Windows and Mac apps. GitHub and Discord links are in the Community section
SaaS is officially dead
The Discord server for reverse-engineered TradingView Premium just hit 57k members
The mods announced a collaboration with the team behind the REA (Reverse Engineer Anything) project, along with the rollout of new features
Access to Discord and GitHub is currently available only through the project's local Windows and Mac apps, as it went private because of enormous traffic
I've been testing the reverse-engineered TradingView Premium the previous week, and here are my findings:
The Windows and Mac apps are clean on VT, and there's no suspicious behaviour when testing in isolated sandbox environments
But I want to give a quick reminder about false positives:
> Detections that basically state that the software was reverse-engineered, such as HackTool.Crack
> Detections that AVs flag randomly: Gen(eric), Heur(istic), PDM, Suspicious
> Detections from Microsoft Defender. This AV fights piracy, not viruses
Also, you can read the full documentation on GitHub, check the scans, and ask people in the community
TradingView just got reverse-engineered
Reverse-engineered TradingView Premium just hit 49.1k stars on a private GitHub repo and 51k members on Discord in a matter of weeks
The devs announced that the project is going private because of insane traffic
You can only access GitHub and Discord through the local apps for Windows and Mac
I guess everything is open-source now
DON'T USE @openmarket_xyz
OpenMarket has reportedly started serving malicious links based on your location and whether it detects crypto wallet extensions in your browser
The company advertises itself as a free alternative to TradingView and gets a lot of engagement on X
Remember: if something is free, you might be the product
TradingView wants to take this down
Reverse-engineered TradingView Premium was trending at #3 on GitHub today, with 3k stars, but went private later
The devs said that TradingView was actively trying to take down the repo, so they decided to make it private
