Clearing is a 4 Step Process
These are the 4 Steps
Before it goes to Settlement
DTCC and NSCC do most of the clearing on EXCHANGES of the @NYSE and @NasdaqExchange
They do not perform Clearing for Internal OTC trades done by OTC Market makers like Citadel and Virtu
Remember Clearing is Matching , is confirming the trades , and making sure everything is correct!
Settlement is different! Settlement is the actual movement of shares from one account to another.
The settlement follows the orders of the Obligation done from clearing.
The DTC which is the Depository Trust Corporation which is WITHIN the Depository trust and CLEARING Corporation
The trust side (DTC) which has the actual fuckn certificate follows the orders of the (DTCC) obligation 👍🏽
And settles the obligation.
Robinhood and Webull uses APEX CLEARING Clear their Trades
Once Apex confirms the trade between an apes $AMC Buy order from Robinhood with Citadels $AMC naked short sell order
If the buy order is completely matches 1 for 1 , meaning if 100 buy orders match 100 sell orders
The transaction is FULLY INTERNALIZED between Robinhood your broker and Citadel
The transaction is cleared on Apex clearing and a obligation is created
If you ordered Robinhood to buy 100 shares
But citadel only naked shorted you 90 shares
The remaining 10 shares your owed get sent to the NSCC for Clearing and the DTC for settlement.
Since citadel can’t buy shares of $AMC
Those 10 shares that went to the NSCC get cleared BUT get flagged by the DTC because the trust which holds the shares ain’t getting shit from citadel
Those 10 shares end up as FTDs
That’s why we see very little FTDs show up on $AMC and $GME

Today , InvestorTurf officially accuses the DTCC, DTC, and NSCC of orchestrating the biggest fraud in stock market history, and we demand action from the Trump administration.
InvestorTurf accuses the market-plumbing complex—DTCC and its two key arms, DTC and NSCC—of enabling the large-scale manufacture and concealment of “counterfeit” shares created through naked short selling. The DTCC is the broker-dealer-owned holding company, with DTC acting as the depository that holds almost all certificates in its nominee name and keeps member and customer sub-accounts as electronic entries, while NSCC is the central clearer that guarantees settlement and runs the stock-borrow program and Continuous Net Settlement (CNS). This structure lets trades “settle” even when the seller never delivers a real, borrowed share, so the buyer is credited with what call counterfeit share, yet the system treats it as if it were genuine.
NSCC’s stock-borrow and CNS netting process allows the same pool of real shares to be booked across multiple customer accounts at different brokers, inflating the effective float. NSCC guarantees trades and cures fails-to-deliver by borrowing from brokers’ net surpluses at DTC; because only net differences move, the lending broker doesn’t remove specific shares from any named customer, but the borrowing broker credits specific customers—so identical shares appear in more than one account. As long as members keep settling only their net obligations, the system never reconciles to the issuer’s true share count. This “CNS” layer hides “billions” of such counterfeit shares from Regulation SHO, with issuer-level CNS totals available only if DTC is successfully subpoenaed—and even the SEC does not routinely receive those tallies.
DTC is burying historic fails and providing mechanisms that let positions evade buy-ins and clocks. There is a case where roughly 400 million naked shorted shares that “should” have been bought in after a major player’s collapse were instead absorbed into DTC’s system and effectively “grandfathered” into legitimacy, permanently diluting issuers while no longer appearing as fails. The DTC runs or condones programs (described as RECATS) that alert members when positions are about to become fails so they can be shipped offshore or matched elsewhere and then returned with clocks reset—repeating as needed to keep positions naked and out of sight. When public and political pressure forced closure of the formal “grandfather” loophole in 2007, DTC and brokers simply migrated large blocks out of DTC to ex-clearing, where the same economic exposure persists but falls outside what regulators track.
Finally, this plumbing doesn’t just tolerate abuse but powers it at scale: by treating borrowed-from-DTC credits as legitimate and netting away gross imbalances, NSCC and DTC provide a standing reservoir of synthetic supply—ten to twenty times larger than the publicly visible fails in targeted names—that can be drawn on to overwhelm buy pressure, depress prices, and even push companies toward distress, all while appearing settled and compliant on the surface. This reserve of “strategic fails” gets created and maintained alongside profitable stock-lending and one-day “borrows,” and “friends” at the DTC and major clearinghouses” are part of a repeatable playbook used during coordinated short campaigns.

My goal has been to do the fairest meme launch ever. This takes a bit of planning, hence my recent silence.
No more. I have partnered with @MeteoraAG and the kinks are unkinked. Here's how this will work.
Sometime in late February we will just drop an entry form out of nowhere.
It will be on my Twitter. It will be a main post on my feed. If you click/enter anything before that, your stupid and I don't care if you lose all my money.
In the event I get hacked (unlikely)...The form will require NO WALLET CONNECTION OR FUNDS.
I'd pay close attention to my content on Youtube and here as I will leave hints on the form drop time.
We will then collect an undecided amount of wallets (probably between 5,000 and 15,000).
People that are cool will likely have a cooler time than those that are uncool. If only there was some way to ensure coolness.
These wallets will have the meme dispersed to them equally. You will then be able to come at your leisure on the Solana blockchain and pick up your allocation. It is 100% free outside the gas which you will have to cover (should be very cheap).
We have ways to prevent this from being gamed. If you want to try to submit multiple wallets, spam it by all means try...You will just lose your spot. (We have AI waiting by to examine the logs)
It will be first come first serve. Entry will depend on how fast you are + how cool you are. Hence why the people that watch/collect the hints will reign supreme.
There is also CIPHER and MINI allocations. Assuming the coin runs to 100 mil a CIPHER allocation will likely be worth six figures. A mini allocation worth 5 figures.
Currently 3/10 ciphers have been one. 10 out 100 mini allocations have been won.
Leading up to the drop I will be posting/hosting fucked up challenges. The winners/participants/people that solve my riddles and games will get the ciphers/minis.
These will be fully issued BEFORE the drop. When all are issued we are probably getting close.
On the actual drop it will AGAIN be posted on my main Twitter here. AGAIN you will NOT have to deposit ANYTHING to get your coins.
