KOREA'S KOSPI OPENED 3.17% LOWER AFTER A 17% OCTOBER WIPEOUT, AND THE DIP GOT BOUGHT 🚨
On Oct 19 the KOSPI opened down 179.64 points at 5,488.41, after Friday's 2.14% Nasdaq drop and growing doubts that AI infrastructure spending will pay off. Through Oct 16 it was down 17.11% for the month, the worst of any major index (Yonhap), as CoreWeave's bond slide and slower Q3 revenue growth at Anthropic hit Samsung Electronics and SK Hynix. Foreigners sold 18.13 trillion won over eight straight sessions from Oct 2. This time buyers stepped in: by 9:12 KST foreign and institutional buying cut the loss to 1.18%. Tesla and Meta report this week, and the US midterms are Nov 3.
On Binance, the $EWY perp (iShares MSCI South Korea ETF) bounced from 147.47 overnight to 159.14. CMP ~158.74, up ~5.6% in 24h.

CHINA BEAT ON Q3 GDP AT 4.5% AND $BTC IS NOW PUSHING 83K 🚨
China's economy grew 4.5% year on year in Q3 (NBS, Oct 19), above the 4.4% Reuters poll and up from a three-year low of 4.3% in Q2. Exports did the heavy lifting on AI hardware demand, while the home front stayed weak: fixed asset investment fell 7.2% in the first nine months and September retail sales rose just 1.1%. Nine-month growth sits at 4.6%, the low end of Beijing's 4.5–5% target.
$BTC bottomed at 80,622 overnight, tagged 82,788 in the hour the data dropped and kept going to 83,157. CMP ~82,960 (+0.9% 24h). Shorts paid for the climb: this morning $54.3M of a 4h $58.1M liquidation wave was shorts.
1H chart:
• Testing: 82,790–82,960

$APR JUST BOUNCED 30% FROM ATL — READY TO PUSH ABOVE $0.035? 👀
Price made a fresh ATL at $0.02279 just 24 hours ago, and now look at this recovery! Buyers are stepping in, and the price is building a decent structure after that brutal dump.
Currently trading around $0.02926, APR is approaching the descending trendline resistance around $0.030–$0.033.
If bulls break this trendline and sustain above $0.033, the next move could be toward $0.035, with an extended push toward $0.040 if momentum stays strong.
But don’t ignore the risk, guys.
If APR gets rejected around $0.032–$0.033, we could see another pullback toward $0.030, and losing that support may send price back toward $0.025–$0.023.
MACD is turning positive, and RSI is recovering, which supports the bounce — but we still need a clean breakout and strong volume to confirm the next leg.
Key levels I’m watching:
Resistance: 0.030–0.033, 0.035, 0.040
Support: 0.028–0.027, 0.025, 0.02279
APR is showing signs of recovery, but the real game starts when buyers break that trendline. Let’s see if bulls can push it above $0.035! 🚀
$Q just hit an all-time high of 0.216! 🚀
Shortly after, the price dropped by 33% in just 10 minutes.

Bitway looks like a long on the 1-hour chart, but only moderate conviction because price is at the top of its range, not at support.
• Pumped to 2.683, pulled back to 2.27, and has moved sideways between 2.26 and 2.49 for about 8 hours.
• Price is above a rising EMA20 (2.38) and EMA50 (2.26), and RSI is 59, so momentum is bullish but not overheated.
• Volume on the pullback has dried up, so sellers look tired.
• Resistance is at 2.49, then 2.58 - 2.65, then 2.683. Support is at 2.36 - 2.38, then 2.26.

Targets : 2.52, 2.57, 2.62, 2.7, 2.85

Pullback volume has dried up, so a break of 2.49 targets the 2.683 high
If it gets rejected at 2.49 again, don't chase. Wait for a retest of about 2.38 to get in.
FRANCE JUST VOTED 38–37 TO TAX CRYPTO-TO-STABLECOIN SWAPS AT 31.4% 🚨
On Oct 16, the National Assembly adopted amendment I-3898 from MP Nicolas Sansu to the 2027 budget. Only 100 of 577 MPs took part. It ends the tax deferral when you swap crypto into a MiCA e-money token like USDC or EURC, so the swap itself becomes a taxable gain from Jan 1, 2027. Non-MiCA tokens are out of scope. It's not law yet: the full budget still needs final passage and the Senate can rewrite or kill it.

🚨 Crude oil 8.5% up this week — $100 ready to load
WTI ( $CL) just hit ~$98.84, 24h high $99.06
What’s driving it :
• Fresh tanker attacks — biggest spike since the Iran war started.
• Hormuz risk: US Central Command confirmed an Iranian projectile struck a container ship that later sank in the Strait.
• Houthis seized Yemen’s Mocha port + attacks on Saudi targets, adding Red Sea pressure on top of Gulf flows.
• EIA: US crude inventories dropped 8.6 million barrels (steepest since February) — strong refinery runs + exports.
• IEA members agreed to finish releasing the remaining 100 million barrels from the March emergency stockpile, but supply fear is still winning.
• Ongoing US–Iran conflict (month 8) + elevated freight costs keep a war premium in the price.
Chart is impulsive off the lows with higher lows intact. A daily close above $100 opens extension; rejection can pull back toward $95–96.
One more confirmed Hormuz or Red Sea incident and $100 breaks fast.
$BR just rocked everyone in their own bed 🔥
In one 1Hr candle it wicked to $0.29, ripped to $0.49, and is now near $0.46, up 19%
$BAT 4Hr Analysis
At the start of October, price was stuck around 0.09, moving sideways with no real interest. Then around Oct 10 it woke up. Big green candles stacked one after another and it ripped to 0.17. After a quick breather it pushed again and tagged 0.224 on Oct 16. That's roughly 2.5x in two weeks.
From the top, sellers stepped in and price dropped to 0.191. That's not random: it's the 0.236 Fibonacci level, the first spot where strong trends usually pause and reload. Buyers showed up right there and bounced it back to 0.205. So far, a healthy pullback, not a breakdown.
Now the interesting part. Open interest jumped 35% in a day, so lots of new positions are opening. But funding is negative and the long/short ratio is 0.43, which means most of those new traders are SHORT, betting on a drop. They're also paying longs to hold. When that many shorts pile in during an uptrend and price pushes higher, they're forced to buy back. That's how short squeezes start.
The one thing missing is volume. The bounce from 0.191 came on light volume, about half the normal amount. MACD is also flattening. So the trend is up, but it needs fresh buying to break the high.
Resistance: 0.211–0.216, then the big one at 0.2245
Support: 0.196, then 0.191 (Fib), then 0.186 (EMA21)
🟢 If price closes a 4h candle above 0.2245 with volume, that's a breakout to new highs. With no history above, the next targets come from Fib extensions: 0.26, then 0.30. The best entry would be a retest of 0.221–0.2245.
🟡 If it dips first, 0.191–0.196 is the zone where buyers should defend again.
🔴 If it closes below 0.186, momentum cools and 0.172 comes into play. Below 0.165, the higher-low structure breaks and the trend is in trouble, opening 0.156 and 0.142.
Strong trend, trapped shorts, healthy pullback. It just needs volume to confirm. No point chasing at 0.205 in the middle of the range. Let the chart show its hand first.
