Progressivism is a word used to obscure and confuse people into thinking things are getting better when, in fact, things are getting much, much worse.
I mentioned some weeks back that kaspa:native was likely to get into the .028’s.
People complained that I was fudding. Yet… here we are.
I wish I was wrong more than I am right.
.025 needs to hold or the target is .013
Nothing would surprise me at this point other than some effort to promote the project that was not just preaching to the choir.
Happy 5th Birthday…
Hope the ‘terrible twos’ are soon over.
Name a 9 letter English word that has just one vowel. It IS a plural.
Put on your thinking caps because it will take some intellectual strength to get the answer.
kaspa:native 23 month down trend still not broken
And the month long slide from .05 also not broken.
Everything points now to a new leg down.
Democrats are not going to be crypto-friendly. Crypto give the people power and democrats will not cede any real power to the people despite their Orwellian moniker.
It’s gonna be rough again I’m afraid.
Hope I am wrong but it’s been years since I have been.
Today the U.S. markets reacted violently to Tuesday’s election results.
2.9 TRILLION in market cap gone in 6.5 hours.
For those who voted for a Democrat to solve the affordability ‘crisis’ by lowering gasoline one dollar…
2.9 trillion dollars is almost exactly one dollar for every gallon of gasoline sold in the USA for TWENTY years.
Ie., affordability took a massive step in the wrong direction today. Cataclysmically so.
Remember, everything liberals touch turns to shit.
Let me see if I have this right…
People are afraid of what government might do with Democrats controlling Congress…
So they DUMP the ONE thing designed to weather institutional storms…
Crypto investors are retarded.
As transformative as crypto seemed to be… I think it is being destroyed by the very thing that initially empowered it.
And Bitcoin’s inherent disastrous weaknesses will eventually dethrone it.
The question is… will crypto live beyond the downfall of Bitcoin?
I do not know.
I DO know that the market now sees crypto as a losing proposition. I know… markets change. But the fact that a bad market can functionally weaken the very network is fundamentally an issue.
As much as I was a believer… I now have my doubts. And the fact that BTC has been cozying up to the very thing it ran out the front door from (legacy finance) tells you who is really running this show.
kaspa:native chart still says .03 breaks and .028’s likely.
Everything is sucking wind.
Maybe settling the USA elections will at least let us know the devil we have to deal with.
And to those calling me a FUDster when I said .05 would be resistance… you need to learn to listen to reason.
I think there is a very real chance that Bitcoin falls prey to its data-driven inherent weaknesses. We might be witnessing this at this very moment.
The question is… will crypto itself be taken down?
Bitcoin is a steam driven car. It is old and tired. Maxis are in an echo chamber.
AI trade has sucked the oxygen out of the room too. AI is more transformative than crypto. AI is more impactful than the internet.
I am open to the idea that this cycle was never a cycle to begin with. A scant 17 years is not enough data to establish enough data points. Halving-driven supply shock today is less than 5% of the first halving.
Crypto is in trouble.
Binance and ETF’s have hijacked the crypto cypherpunk ethos.
Crypto might as well be pork belly futures. It’s just another bankster tool.
kaspa:native does another head fake breakout that failed.
Frankly… crypto sorta sucks pretty consistently. Not just Kaspa. It all has blown chunks for quite a while.
Go back 5 years on BTC. 23% return in 5 years.
Stonks beat it soundly.
Consciousness to a materialist is purely a function of the physical realm. It is a functions of inputs and outputs bound to biochemistry. The only person we know is self aware is… ourselves. We rightly assume that the other 8 billion humans share this trait but we cannot make any proof for that, nor can we truly share our self knowledge with anyone.
Can a machine ever become self aware?
Certainly a machine can mimic traits of self awareness. AI is surprising us with unexpected exploits, mathematical ‘insights’ and deep problem solving ‘skills’ but will silicon ever KNOW it exists?
We, on the other side of the machine, seem to be looking at the box and wondering if function is the only prerequisite for awareness. If it acts self-aware… IS it self-aware.
Living in an increasingly materialistic world (matter is all there is… not wanting a new fridge), it is easy to think that machines might become self aware.
But from a more classical worldview…
The question might be asked. Can man breathe the breath of life into silicon the same way God breathed life into dust?
This all meant to stimulate light. Not heat.
kaspa:native is still under the same descending resistance line that set in just after having hit a nickel.
There was a head fake but it was a head fake.
Kaspa market is still controlled by sellers and the only conclusion I can draw from that is the same conclusion I have had for the last year.
Nobody will buy if nobody knows.
kaspa:native broke short term down trend resistance but pulled back deeply.
It looks and feels like another green candle gone to crap but this might have helped the bull’s cause.
kaspa:native local top was also right on the 22 month down trend resistance line.
Until that breaks and stays broken we are still in the woods.
