the AI will break everything doom is also as much an AI will make sure nothing is broken optimism
just like there is an endless battle between computer hackers and cybersecurity, there will be an endless battle between agents weaponised for good vs bad
the world is not ending, the internet isn't about to fall apart, this fear is just the necessary catalyst for AI to be utilised to it's fullest potential to make software secure
if this AI fear spreads and we see a large scale panic/capitulation in markets, make sure to see through the noise and bid
This is INSANE. Anthropic says Claude wrote around one billion lines of formal proofs while trying to verify real-world software, with about 180 million lines ending up in machine-checked proofs covering 239 test entry points across 123 open-source libraries.
Along the way it found and patched hundreds of bugs. In separate experiments, Claude found in one week as many security bugs in a widely used PDF reader as are typically reported in a year, and autonomously generated x86 semantics that exposed hundreds of mistakes in official reference documentation plus some bugs in the hardware itself.
Anthropic is cooking. Fable 5.5 is going to be a beast.
Crypto and stocks have the same fundamentals, they’re both driven by narrative, risk sentiment, peak fear and peak greed
But they require completely different systems for investing
In stocks you could potentially create a list of the best 20 companies in the world, wait for everyone to be shitting on them, buy them, and you would be profitable
But in crypto it’s different
For example, new altcoins outperform old ones, the older a project is the more it tends to die out
There's Bitcoin, and then there's everything else, a distinction that doesn't exist in the stock market
There’s not just Tesla and then everything else
So you have the same fundamentals, but different strategies, and getting this wrong will cost you a lot of money
For the first 3 years in crypto I made almost every decision based on what people were saying online
And it just wasn’t sustainable
When 9 out of 10 people on your feed say price is going up, that subconsciously becomes your bias
But that’s herd mentality, and it’s how most people end up on the wrong side of every trade
When I started following my own decisions in 2020, that’s when everything changed and I made my first million
As you get better at investing, you’ll need to move on from copying others and start trusting your own intuition:
This is one of the many lessons I’ve learned since I started crypto in 2017
And after 9 years of learning things the hard way and scaling my portfolio from $5K to $7M+
I’ve condensed all the lessons I wish I knew when I started in my free 40 hour course: bullrunmillions.com
One of the biggest things I wish I had studied earlier in crypto is how the market cycle works
And not because it’s complicated, but because not understanding it will always put you on the wrong side of the market
If I had truly understood what a bear market bottom looked like, I would have bought more
If I had truly understood what a top looked like, I would have sold more
But the most important thing to understand about market cycles is that:
After a bear market you’ll tend to have a bear bias, so you’ll think price is going lower when it’s actually bottoming
And after a bull market you’ll tend to have a bull bias, so you’ll think price is going higher when it’s actually topping
The market will literally program you with the wrong bias at exactly the wrong time
I went from $5K to my first million in about a year
But it took 3 years before that of mostly just losing money before I got there
And even after making millions there were times when I made expensive mistakes
Selling coins just before they go parabolic, bagholding from the top, the list goes on
It’s experiences like these that will scar you and prevent you from making similar mistakes in the future
If you want to become a profitable investor, just know that these things are a necessary part of the journey, you can’t avoid them
I’ve lost everything multiple times before making my first million, and even after that I still made some expensive mistakes
But every single one of those experiences made me a significantly better investor
I broke down all the lessons I learned the hard way in my free 40 hour course: bullrunmillions.com
If you want crypto to change your life, it’s going to take longer than you think
Everyone makes money in a bullrun, that’s the easy part, the hard part is keeping it
And the only way to learn how to keep it is to stay when everyone else leaves
When the bear market hits, most people get bored and disappear for years until the next bullrun comes
And those are exactly the ones who never make it
Grinding a few hours a day consistently for years is what will get you there, not 12 hour days for one year and then disappearing
You should treat crypto like a marathon, not a sprint
In most areas of life you can always brute force a result
In business you can just work more, in sports you can just train more, in university you can just study more
But in crypto you can’t force profits, you can only take what the market is willing to give
The best way to go about it is to be a lazy buyer and an obsessive learner
Like if you hate the process of having to connect your ledger and put the password in to then buy, you’ll only do it when you have extremely high conviction
And forcing trades you’re not fully convinced on is exactly how you’ll end up losing money
The market will give you money only in proportion to what you deserve
One of my biggest weaknesses as an investor is not allocating heavily enough when I know I should
And it’s because when you’re buying near a bottom you always have zero certainty
The higher price goes, the more confident you’ll feel about buying, but the more you’ll pay for that confidence
Buying at the bottom always feels wrong, everyone is panicking and calling for lower prices
And that’s exactly the point
In crypto you always have to choose between two types of pain
Either the pain of making the right decision that feels wrong
Or the pain of making the wrong decision that feels right, at least at the beginning
You should always get allocated before you feel certain, because by the time you feel that way, you’ll have already missed the bottom:
Not allocating heavily enough when I know I should was one of my biggest weaknesses as an investor
And it took me years of missing out on extra profit before I built a system that forced me to allocate heavily before it felt comfortable
I broke down that system in my free 40 hour course: bullrunmillions.com
Most people lose money in crypto by trying to do two things
Buying the exact bottom and selling the exact top, because both are basically impossible to time consistently
You might get it right once every 20 times, but the times you get it wrong, you’ll get wiped out
Your goal shouldn’t be to be perfect, it should be to have a strategy that catches 80% of the trend consistently
A strategy that you can run cycle after cycle
That’s how you actually grow your portfolio:
This is one of the many lessons I’ve learned since I started crypto in 2017
And after 9 years of learning things the hard way and scaling my portfolio from $5K to $7M+
I’ve condensed all the lessons I wish I knew when I started in my free 40 hour course: bullrunmillions.com
and even if you don’t listen to the ai slop yourself you’re still going to hear it everywhere because every creator who wants to monetise their videos without getting copyright claimed is going to use it because the alternative is some mid royalty free ukulele song
When I first got into crypto I thought the faster I allocated my money the better
And I see this same mistake with almost everyone who joins my mastermind
They all want to ape into coins asap, they think crypto is like starting a business where the sooner you start the better
But the reality is that waiting months or even a full year before making your first move is actually a great thing
Because you only need to make one or two moves a year to outperform the market
And if you stay in cash and wait patiently, you can stay objective and ready to spot the best opportunities when they present themselves
And then go heavy to capitalize on them:
I’ve been in crypto since 2017 and scaled my portfolio from $5K to $7M+
And knowing that patience is one of the most powerful edges you can have is just 1 of the 30 things I wish I knew when I started crypto
I’ve condensed all 30 of them into a single YT video, so you don’t have to learn them the hard way: youtu.be/19SsPC6KEeA?is=74Pz…
The problem with not being invested right now is that getting good entries will be hard
For the simple fact that good investments don't give you easy entries, everyone wants them, so they don't stay down for long
The only things that are currently in the buy zone are probably the things that will perform the worst
Realistically speaking, now that we’re entering a bullish period, your best play is to wait for the fear within the cycle before getting allocated
Because when you enter when the market sucks, you don't need patience, you can just buy in
But when you enter when the market is bullish, patience is the only edge you have
This is how my core crypto portfolio is structured for this bullrun:
bitcoin:native
> Bought it between $59K-$65K
> Largest position, holding through the remainder of the cycle
> Aiming to sell between $120K-$150K, if it goes 2x from our entry I'm happy to sell
hyperliquid:native
> Bought at $32.50
> Highest conviction altcoin, holding through the remainder of the cycle
ethereum:0x232ce3bd40fcd6f80f3d55a522d03f25df784ee2
> Bought at $1.20
> Bullish on PERPS as a vehicle for speculation as decentralized exchanges grow and get regulated in the US
> The Lighter CEO is actively working with the CFTC on this
> Only concern is the unlocks at end of year, will look to sell before those hit and potentially rebuy
Everything is playing out as expected, and we're still early:
Allocating to plays like $HYPE and ethereum:0x232ce3bd40fcd6f80f3d55a522d03f25df784ee2 early is one of the edges that allowed me to scale my portfolio from $5K to $7M+
And I had been talking about them in my TG ever since I first bought
I break down plays like this regularly in my TG channel: t.me/danscryptorants
