Me too. I've been buying a little on the way down thinking it would jump up and then when it hit all-time lows I bought a whole bunch. Just like you said, the vibe is so different from others going through a bear market. $QUBIC was hard at work building and not paying attention to the FUD.
I've been lurking in the $qubic discord for 3 years and community activity is wild for its size and market cap
Although qubic price has been mostly down only since the euphoria in early '24, activity levels never dropped
Very different from every other community and project I've been researching and hanging out in over the years, which are all mostly dead during bear
I think a lot of the enthusiasm is due to the nature of the project, what's actually being R&D'd and how it's done
There is some genuinely novel stuff happening, with ideas being shared and experiments run, often directly involving the community in both decision making and execution, and when there's real progress on a task (like right now with btc price prediction model) there's a feeling of joint effort
Then there's the enigma CFB and all the speculations surrounding his persona. Who knows what's really going on there. Some are hoping to learn more after April 13, but not holding my breath
Anyway, don't listen to the ones parroting that innovation in crypto is dead, they're looking in the wrong place

What would actually have to happen for $QUBIC to reach $0.001 - or even $0.005 ?
At today’s supply, $0.001 would imply roughly a $143B valuation.
$0.005 would be around $716B.
Those numbers sound extreme.
But there’s another side of the equation:
QUBIC’s supply isn’t fixed at today’s level.
Qubic has already reduced its maximum supply from 1,000T to 200T, while its emission schedule progressively reduces net new supply.
Smart-contract activity and contract launches can also burn QUBIC.
Now imagine the other side starts working too.
If Aigarth eventually becomes a genuinely useful decentralised AI/compute ecosystem, demand for QUBIC could grow alongside network activity and burns.
At 100T supply, $0.001 = $100B.
At 50T supply, $0.005 = $250B.
I’m not saying either supply level or price is a forecast. Getting there would require enormous additional net burns and a massive increase in real economic activity.
But that’s the question I’m interested in:
What would Qubic actually have to become for $0.001 or $0.005 to make sense? 👀

A $QUBIC research lab just launched in Switzerland. Independent. Non-profit. Not the company talking about itself.
A group of Qubic community members have officially set up a non-profit in Switzerland called the Qubic AGI Lab. The key word there is independent. It’s legally and financially separate from Qubic itself. It’s not the company marketing itself. It’s a proper grassroots, non-profit group.
Its whole purpose is research and education around decentralised AI, the stuff built on $QUBIC, like Useful Proof of Work and the Aigarth project. I like that they’re not just cheerleading it.
They’re explicitly there to educate about the risks of decentralised AI too, not just the upside. That’s a balanced, grown-up approach.
They’re even running a free event in Basel on the 7th of November. Talks, demos and workshops, if you’re anywhere nearby.
Organised people wanting to research and teach Qubic properly? I am all for it.
