Talked about why recently stocks & commodities were outperforming crypto. Him: "I think the reason is that crypto is interesting, but it was around for so many years and still there wasn't even ONE product coming out of crypto that brokeout from that small bubble, and created something useful for our society". I am thinking about it for quite some time now. How would you answer?

On the topic of capital growth and compunding. As we are getting closer to the end of the cycle, more (smart) people are getting interested in maximizing gains, allocating their capital in a way it wil continue "working", and taking some risk off the table. What are the options out there? Let's take a look. • Saving - just saving your money in USD doesn't make any sense. Inflation is effectivelly eating your money slowly (and during certain periods of time - fast), and the buying power of $1 is significantly lower than it was even 10 years ago. 🟢Pros: your matrass feels thicker cause of all the cash you stockpile underneath it. 🟡Cons: you lose money that you worked so hard to make. 🔴Verdict: hard pass. • Investing - a much better approach with numerous available and solidifed products in the market. There are plenty of ETFs and Hedge Funds that are happy to take your money in, and generate modern returns anywhere in the wide range of 2-5-10-15% / year. Think S&P500, where you can just purchase shares of a diversified portfolio, and grind the value up over the years with minimum management/participation from your side. If you spend time and DYOR - you can make your own bets, and invest in companies/projects, generating crazy long-term returns. Of course, you are still exposed to risks during the bear markets and corrections. 🟢Pros: minimum management needed. Steady year-after-year growth. Upside potential is growing together with your capital & knowledge. Visible track record and data. 🟡 Cons: still exposed to corrections, project/company can go underwater based on earnings, selloffs, scandals, black swan events, etc. 🔴Verdict: best option for most normal people. • Trading (futures) - it lures in thousands of people every year with the promises of lambos, mansions, and generational wealth retirement with complete freedom. It then produces almost the same amount of depressed, dissapointed "I've lost it all & trading is a scam"s. Only a few sticks around, and actually become profitable. Literally, if you are a profitable trader and you live off it - you are in top 1% by inteligence and smarts. 🟢Pros: unlimited $ upside, geographical freedom - you can trade from anywhere, the only thing you need is wifi & phone/laptop. 🟡 Cons: extremely difficult to master. Takes a lot of time and studying. Demands attention and a lot of management. The swings down can be massive, unexpected, and erase months of gains in 1 bad day without proper risk management. Messes up with your psyche. 🔴Verdict: worth trying to see if you are cut for this. But ONLY with clear risk management rules, and small $ that you can afford to lose. And only if you have enough time to study, look at the charts, backtest, and research DAILY for extended periods of time. You can't treat trading like a hobby, and expect outsized results. • OMG RWA Yield / RWA-Fi yield - something that our team been building for quite some time, as there's a clear market gap and demand for this. It's taking the best from traditional investing, like minimal management and attention, and clear understanding & expectation of the returns. Will use OMG for this example, but there are some other projects that build in this direction too. Unlike traditional DeFi, where with more people in the pool or specific token market swings, the APY can change drastically, RWA allows a clear and more stable APY projection, as the returns are not coming from the growth of a speculative assets, but from the value and revenue of the existing underlying business activities. That allows to deliver stable yield that is protected from the cryptocurrency market fluctuations. 🟢Pros: taking the best from traditional investing. Very little personal management - deposit & yield. Protected from crypto market swings down/up, and APY % diminishing. Clear legal structure and understanding of where the yield is coming from. Visible track record and data. APY higher than most competition. 🟡 Cons: RWA sector is still new, and people are being cautios about its performance. Even with the bullish news from SEC, the market didn't care. 2 scenarios I anticipate Bounce + Trap Setup: We bounce inside this current FVG, push to 121.6–122K (ATH retest), reject, and dive into the 108–110K abyss to fill the last valid FVG before a full Q4 blow-off top(Invalidation: we nuke directly into 108–110K now). Straight Drop + Bounce: We dump to 108–110K, wick, bounce off the trendline/support, and start the slow grind back up into ATHs — prepping for September’s rate cuts and final BTC top in Sept–Oct. Why It’s Plausible Everyone’s getting chopped. Longs got nuked. Shorts printing, and that never lasts. Market hates when retail wins.
