We believe that these kinds of puzzles are perfect for measuring the progress in AI reasoning capabilities. We are proud to announce that we have partnered with the popular YouTube channel Cracking The Cryptic @crypticcracking to provide 100s of hours of high quality examples of human reasoning when solving Sudokus to train new reasoning systems. With this data we ask “Can we train AIs to think and solve puzzles in a human-like way?” We are also extremely thankful to Nikoli @nikoli_official, the famous Japanese puzzle company that gave Sudoku its name, for agreeing to supply us with beautiful hand made Sudoku’s to be added to the benchmark.
