DEPTOR acts as oncogene or tumor suppressor. It is the only protein regulating both #mTOR complexes. In @eLife (bit.ly/2Xf1ez9) we show how DEPTOR controls #mTOR, featuring #cryoEM and a unique allosteric mechanism, also see work by Williams lab @biozentrum @MRC_LMB /1
