Honestly, @jonathansfrakes , absolutely nailed the crossover episode. One of the best episodes of Star Trek. Huge kudos to everyone involved!

This screen in the BA app 😑 so much potential here to improve the unhappy path for users even with the complexity behind the scenes

I think I’ve walked past 10 in @LPL_Airport asking about my retail, check-in, security experience, bathroom XP. I love the idea of pulse checking CX (debates on accuracy aside) but this is a real world equivalent of pop ups and overwhelm. Great case for why UXR capability matters

Wise. Best CEO advice I get got was: how is the issue you are facing your fault? How did you enable it? It’s the mark of a leader who can get into the mindset of how your actions led to the outcomes you are seeing
A common trait I’ve observed in people who consistently create successful products is that they are terrible at making excuses.

I’ve tried 4 times to make bookings tonight with @AvisUK - all failed with a generic error message. Same on both web and app …

3 things I learned early on that have paid dividends in my career as a Product Manager: 1 ) Involve all your team early on in the process. This will help with providing context. 2) Spend as much time as possible having a clear WHY 3) Invest in building relationships and trust

Product Management is not about being in charge. Product Management is about helping, unblocking, and taking care of those around you that you are not in charge of.

As PMs, always give the credit to your team (eng, design, data, research, ops). If you're looking for credit, you're in the wrong field.

Can we get a product manager and a great product designer on Airport security lines? Different type of “product” but the mindset is what is required. Everyone is going to benefit from it. @HeathrowAirport @simplybastow @productherapist

Berlin Tegel had was similar prior to closing - it was a popular approach (at least inside my bubble). I still see a bunch of opportunities even within the “bulk” process. From User education and incentivisatikn to process and structural tweaks. Honestly, looks fun! </nerd>😂

When I read this story by @troyhunt about how @Cloudflare and @Azure misfired to cause a huge bill I felt terrible. I reached out to @scottgu and proposed we split Troy's cost. Scott immediately agreed. Great to support our mutual customers! troyhunt.com/how-i-got-pwned…

As a PM you get all of your work done through influencing others. You need to build up trust & credibility. Every part of your job is easier when people think “I’m glad you’re here.” People form first impressions quickly.

This is a real world example of a Product Manager asking a Product Designer to add a tooltip. @_jwong I know you'll appreciate. #productmanagement #Product #ui #ux
