He thought for a moment. There were a few things that he wanted, but they were all related to his work.
"I want you to surprise me, just a little."
Wylan smiled a bit to himself before looking up at Jesper.
"You let me hug you, now you aren't getting away from me."
Wylan gladly accepted the kiss and returned it with one of his own. His smile started to come back.
"Don't go out of your way for me, Jes."
Wylans little smile faded for a moment due to old memories before he was honest with Jesper.
"We did but... never for me.."
Wylan finally pulled back just enough to look up at him, clearly in a better mood from just Jesper holding him.
"I dont know.. what do people do on their birthday?"
He was grateful to be hidden in Jespers chest because of the smile that formed at those words because of how excited Jesper sounded at the idea of Wylans birthday.
"Thats why I wasnt going to tell you. I've never celebrated it and I didnt want you to do something and get+
That sadness started to turn into embarrassment, causing him to whine just a little and cling a bit more onto Jesper.
"I've never celebrated it... I wasn't even going to tell you, but I felt bad for not telling you.."
He was upset at the idea of telling Jesper the truth.
He turned in Jespers arms to wrap his arms around Jesper and hide in his chest for a moment. Wylan would always be a sucker for a good hug or a cuddle from Jesper.
"Its not your fault because I never told you."
He hesitated then mumbled "my birthday is tomorrow.."
