@greatparks was awarded $8M from @OKIRCOG for the first phase of the Ohio River Trail along the Oasis rail line, from Friendship Park to Collins Ave! Construction is set to start in 2027.
We are one big step closer to completing the CROWN! 🚴♂️🏃♀️
It will also complete the 326-mile @ohiotoerietrail in SW Ohio as a separated trail.
This trail has been in the works for nearly 2 decades. It was made possible thanks to leadership and collaboration between @greatparks, @CityOfCincy, @cincinnatimetro, and @tristatetrails.
