This week we put out the final episode of Crash Course Black American History. We worked on this series for over 3 years and put out 51 episodes spanning the transatlantic slave trade to the Black Lives Matter movement. I’m so proud of what we made.

I am an alumna of @UMNews & former House colleague of Regent Sviggum. I'm appalled by this. At the very least, he owes students an apology. I think he should consider moving on. Our University needs leadership that helps us build our multiracial democracy. This isn't it.

The largest student population @UMNMorris after Whites (54%) is American Indian (32.5%). No other racial group is above 4.3%. So apparently Indigenous students whose land @UMN occupies are considered too diverse. That is deeply disturbing. @UMN_AMIN
