I finally wrote a book that covers vprogs, and in particular tic-tac-toe implemented as a vprog on testnet-10. It follows the game down to the machinery underneath, with diagrams and appendices for the details. Welcome to explore it and ask questions: biryukovmaxim.github.io/vpro…

The @dotk_name covenant are now open source! A novel gap/deed design makes every .k name unique, on a first come, first served basis. Enforced by #Kaspa consensus. The release comes with a verifier program that explains each check and proves the registry's current state is produced by exactly these sources, and that it is correct *and* complete.

The key point is that a DEX without a permissionless executor transfers trading profits to a centralized organization. Covenant, featuring Argent and Silverscript, unlocks infinite possibilities for PoW.
A fully decentralized DEX. The plan is for executors to move to miners over time, running on a Kaspa full node with modest extra specs, with all rewards paid only as additional income to miners. Currently undergoing testing.🙏 github.com/RossKU/kob

I rebuilt the Kaspa orderbook DEX as Argent app! The covenants are now written in SilverScript instead of raw opcodes, and it supports KCC20 and KRON tokens. It's open source, anyone can run an Executor. Testing it for a while 🙏

Orders. Limit (GTC / GTD / day / timed), IOC, FOK, market (bounded IOC auction), stop, stop-limit, stop-market, trailing stop, take-profit, OCO, IFD / IFO (with repeat), TWAP / DCA / Dutch, cancel-replace, partial fills everywhere, and a token to token cross limit that settles.

KaspaCom Markets is coming to Kaspa mainnet KaspaCom Markets is bringing KCC20 order book trading natively to Kaspa L1, fully decentralized and self-custodial. Limit Orders. Market Orders. Trade on your terms. The KCC20 standard is almost ready. So are we. Mainnet is next. ⚡️

.kas is a not trustless its a L2 all fees goes to devs supports the network barley .k is the best design we have but still all costs go to dev plus leaves the gap of what happens if you lose a seed phrase or God forbid you pass away? Those domains are gone forever. .kachat all costs goes to miners ensures focus on supporting the Kaspa network. I profit 0 Being rented avoids scalping and holding domains forever .kachat marketplace will be P2P no extra fees and trustless. In the end domains are only as useful as the ecosystem that they are built on. KaChat is discontinuing priority of other domains for .kachat so if you want the best experience of KaChat which is on every platform now you gonna want a .kachat domain.

i’ve written about it in the past but i feel like now it would hit more ears so to speak. there are basically two categories of covenants, those that are all about the Kaspa they protect (eg vaults, timelocks, escrow etc) and those that are about the state they carry which essentially forms another mini social consensus (eg name services, native kcc20 tokens, and whatnot). one might typically call these stateful covenants but that’s not the full story instead of diving straight in, i’d like to hear from you. how do you understand the difference between the two categories, conceptually as well as what are the technical implications resulting from the differences

argent now has a first implementation of covenant genesis proofs: github.com/argent-lang/argen… idk how to emphasize this enough, but i expect *every stateful covenant* deployed on kaspa to eventually provide such a proof. the goal is a verifiable link from a covenant id back to the source code, deployment parameters, and genesis state that produced it. we should strive for an ecosystem where explorers expose this proof data for every covenant id they discover onchain, assuming its deployers want public trust. think of it as the analogue of contract verification on etherscan, extended to stateful covenants: you should be able to inspect what a covenant is, audit the code behind it, and verify how it was instantiated. kudos to @supertypo_kas for being an early-bird example of such a proper deployment process: github.com/supertypo/dotk-in… (not sure if the sil contracts themselves are public yet)

This opens a permissionless path to a Zcash-style shielded pool on Kaspa: settlement needs only a valid proof, no operator signature, and L1 sequencing prevents operator censorship. 🌱
Tic-tac-toe is live on Kaspa testnet: the first vprog, a verifiable program with real execution and real settlement, running since yesterday. You can play it here: vprogs-tt.izio.fr/ (Requires private key and some testnet funds) We still need to review and merge a stack of PRs, however this is already a working POC. UI/UX was never a priority; the frontend can be enhanced or built separately I'm gonna work on mdBook covering the parts of the system I consider meaningful and a workshop on vprogs and building apps on top For Devs: this is the invitation. Play the game, read the code, build your own vprog. Game code: github.com/biryukovmaxim/vpr… vprogs framework: github.com/kaspanet/vprogs/t…
