telling chatgpt to "build a plan and then execute against the plan" is really just self-talk

copying your entire codebase (thx @pvncher + tech stack context into O1Pro finds bug root causes way faster than endless debugging loops with claude in cursor. saved me hours today.

learning about ai-driven development: was making super detailed module specs. might be backwards. thinking now: rich context on "what/why", let ai figure out "how" less prescription = smoother dev process?

using Cursor + composer/agent for a PKM has been sooo useful. Love being able to reference other Markdown files in a prompt, have the context of my entire vault, and make connections and have it write new files for me.

Health is broken. We should have daily data about what is happening in our biometrics, organs, arteries, etc and know if anything is wrong with our body + the likelihood we will develop certain diseases. Call it a full body telemetry based on daily data and powered by ML/AI

Avoid ultra-processed foods OR avoid foods with seed oils & sugar. Which habit is easier to follow?
1
In trying to create simple daily objectives for the Wearable Challenge, we've been using "avoid foods with 5+ ingredients" but soon realized that it rules out products like Primal Kitchen which is not really a "processed food".
1
By changing the objective to instead focus on cutting out seed oils + sugar, we're cutting out 90% of the crap food while making it easier to follow
Registration is closing today for the January 10th CGM challenge! We're switching things up this time around. New challenge rules: ❌ No 120mg/dL+ glucose spikes ❌ No alcohol ❌ No sugar ⚠️ Limit processed foods 😅 Move every day Join & commit here → wearablechallenge.com/c13

You don't need permission to start something.
It used to be: If you were an author, you had to ask permission from a publisher If you were a filmmaker, you had to ask permission from a movie studio And if you were an entrepreneur, you had to ask permission from investors That’s no longer the case.

I wonder to what extent sleep trackers (Oura, Apple Watch, Whoop, etc) are pushing people to drink less. Once you start tracking your sleep, it quickly becomes obvious just how badly alcohol impacts it. And not for the better.

When focusing on improving health, how do you balance the data-oriented, biohacking optimization effort with intuition, instinct, self-compassion?

There's a goat rental service that "cuts" grass/weeds on land here in Austin area that charges $2k/acre. One big expense is setting up the electric fencing. Just this morning learned about vence.io for virtual fencing. Could be a great side hustle.
