just learned about bikeshedding.
i do think we should be calling it something else though.
Does anyone have an online course about marketing/sales for SAAS that they actually like? I'd like to learn this skill, but I'm starting from zero or even negative.
Quick, genuine thank you notes without other demands on people’s time make email Inboxes so much nicer! The internet lowers the barrier to sending those so much. I’ve been trying to do this more often with authors that I love to read.
Software estimates often use various scales: Fibonacci, T-Shirt Sizes, Estimated Hours. I'd like to propose the more honest "Who's line is it anyway?" scale, where the points don't matter...
Microwaving cold coffee makes it taste horrible. If you wanna make it a little more palatable adding just a tiny bit of hot water after you nuke it helps a *lot*.
Unbelievable experience in the totality. I’ve never seen anything as visually stunning. Photos can’t capture it. #Eclipse2024

#ittyrouter v5 was just dropped. This one is BIG.
Except the library.

Typescript folks. I want this `groupBy` function to work more fluently. Any ideas for improvement here? I'd really love if the `groupBy` function could infer the type parameters without me being all specific (CC @mattpocockuk and @AndaristRake) typescriptlang.org/play?#cod…
Dear Xwitter (@X). I block ads not because I’m opposed to ads, but because they’re somewhere between irrelevant and wildly offensive. I don’t want to buy a subscription; I want ads that I want to click.
I really wish the REPL at @sveltejs had a “demo” mode. I often whip up a toy that I want to send to someone non technical. I’d really love to send them to a page that defaults to output mode.
Trying to teach my kids to be smugly self satisfied knowing that they’re right rather than continuing to argue with each other. Hoping I’m not creating a monster…

We need to normalize “blessings” over ”have a good day”. “May your day be easy and full of kind people” or “Hope your day goes quickly and you have fun along the way” is just more specific and pleasant!
Every time I check out GraphQL four minutes into reading a “getting started” tutorial I bump into a string called “Schema” that duplicates all the code I’m about to have to write, but won’t refactor easily with the rest of my code. Any proponents wanna explain what I’m missing?
My alarm for giving my kid his ADD meds is “My Own Drum” by @Lin_Manuel (from Vivo). A more perfect alarm ring tone has never existed.
