Presumably suspending trains above the ground would be perfect for avoiding leaves on the line or, for that matter, snow too

All ready for next week's launch of Tania's powerful book of poetry and biography springview.uk/Goodness.html

ALT A broadly-smiling lady with her hair in a chopped, short style wearing a necklace of red and green beads over her red top and white knitted top holds here new book, Goodness Only Knows - a personal story of love, loss and hope. It has a picture of a lake on the cover (which appears in her life story inside) with a large wooden cross in the foreground.
Very tempted to follow @MartinSLewis advice and switch bank as @LloydsBank has inexplicably removed the nicknames I've used on my various accounts and cards for the last 35+ years in online banking. Why?
Very much appreciate @vango's celebration of my recent birthday at the Caravan, Camping and Motorhome Show this week
I've just put a consumer rights feature I wrote in November 2019, long before generative AI was a thing, and put it into an AI detector website. The attached screenshot shows the result.
Apparently all six AI detectors agree it's conclusively AI…
Anyone got any ideas on how to find the prices for an electricity tariff from earlier in the year? I'm looking for a particular @edfenergy fixed rate that wasn't implemented properly so my friend has been overcharged. EDF is refusing to tell me what it should have been!

Looking forward to next week's launch of a book that's needed today - real-life ways to resolve conflict
Privileged to spend today with Ted Alexander and a little of his incredible archive of camping memorabilia, including more than 100 pre-1970s tents
Generally our @OctopusEnergy Agile and @GivEnergy set up has been brilliant, until a fallen tree took out the phone line yesterday. Turns out it's inaccessible without wifi from the home router!
Two main routes into Coventry closed for a month at the same time, thanks to #HS2, and the third is now shut because of a collision. Fortunately I'm planning a trip south next week rather than this, while pondering HS2's commitment to "being a good neighbour"

Definitely a first for Spring View Publications - the lovely @gracie_malise has created this amazing body art to mark the release of her mum's new book later this month. Not sure all our authors are ready for this type of publicity yet!
Back on the campsite reviewing for @FriendlyClubMag in the sunshine. Tough life, but somebody's got to do it.
Spectacular evening @blenheimpalace yesterday exploring #ChristmasAtBlenheimPalace. They even had tents - what more could a girl wish for?!

ALT A small tipi tent sits behind a campfire and in front of a beautifully-lit Christmas tree with a slightly random small totem pole in front of it. In the background you can just spot the beautifully-decorated fireplace of the room in Blenheim Palace that houses the Peter-Pan-themed Christmas extravaganza, of which this is a small part.
Ideally you'll buy one and write us a lovely review!
It's not often we promote this book seller over an independent, but Susan's December Musings is on offer there are only £1.48 at the moment. Worth getting one in time to enjoy a poem a day in the run up to Christmas? amazon.co.uk/December-musing…
What is it about corresponding with Continental caravan and motorhome manufacturers that makes me write in such tortuous English? "Please may I have details I would have had if I were to have attended..."
The joy of handing over the first copy of a new publication to the author never dims!
Very proud to have spent an afternoon in Kenilworth alongside local legend Cyril Hobbins to promote his first ever children's book Uncle Buckle springview.uk/Uncle-Buckle.h…
