The flood of bad news around wallet compromises and rising crypto threats over the past few weeks has shown up right as prices sit near cycle lows. It's hard to see that timing as pure chance, it feels too precise to dismiss as random.

I’m convinced all these non stop hack incidents lately are being purposely manufactured to eventually lead to custody of your crypto with banks
It’s getting more regular now which means the ‘bank custody’ announcements may be around the corner.
Soon you will be convinced that the banks are safest option

72 hour update on reseller CryptoBilis incident 🔽
As the investigation continues, we are working with relevant authorities. The volume of impacted devices is limited. We know this is concerning, especially for those directly affected, and we are reaching out to impacted users.
To date, all confirmed cases related to the disclosed draining incident of Oct 9th, 2026, involve devices sold through the Southeast Asia reseller CryptoBilis. Our systems and direct sales channels remain unaffected.
We take the CryptoBilis situation seriously and are actively investigating.
We encourage impacted users to reach out to Ledger Support through official channels and file complaints with their local law enforcement authorities. As a reminder, CryptoBilis has confirmed having ceased all sales of hardware wallets.
We are reminding our authorized resellers and distributors to source products only through authorized channels and never to restock returned products.
Also, we strongly advise users not to purchase from unauthorized resellers, where the risk of buying suspicious, counterfeit or modified devices is important as nothing operates under ledger security guidelines.
Security isn’t static and this incident underscores why we continuously review and strengthen our distribution and anti-tamper processes.
We are continuously improving that work now and events like this strengthen our resolution: reviewing authorized reseller controls, advancing hardware protections, and cooperating with authorities. Thanks to @SEAL_911 for their collaborative support and all their efforts.
This is an ongoing threat that doesn’t just impact Ledger, but the whole ecosystem, and we are calling others in the space to work with us on making improvements for users.
We believe in jointly working with researchers, other vendors and partners on improving industry chain-of-custody practices and anti-tamper techniques. Raising the bar on physical supply-chain integrity benefits the entire ecosystem. If you have relevant information, contact security@ledger.com.
For CryptoBilis buyers: do not initialize unused devices. If already set up, move to a new seed on a device from Ledger. If you have concerns that your device was impacted by the CryptoBilis incident, please contact Ledger Support through the official site: support.Ledger.com.
Ledger Support is available 24/7 to answer your questions and concerns.
Scammers often try to take advantage of incidents like this. Rely only on official Ledger channels. Ledger will never call you, DM you, or ask for your 24-word recovery phrase.

"Your labs are normal" and "you're healthy" are two different sentences.
Normal is the average of a population that's mostly tired, medicated, and overweight.
Congratulations. You're exactly as well as everyone else.

If you told anyone who hadn't read deep research that diet is actually one of the least impactful things for the gut they'd look at you crazy,
But really the gut and it's ability to breakdown, digest, ferment and absorb everything you eat far outweighs this for everyone I've seen.

Living a life you absolutely dread is worse for your health than seed oils, microplastics or any of the other topics that people obsess over on here.
Working a job you hate, never doing things you genuinely enjoy, waking up daily with nothing to look forward to.
Zero fulfillment, just existing.
You can do all of the biohacking you want. You will never outrun hating your life.

🚨 JUST IN: The CLARITY Act has officially cleared the U.S. Senate Banking Committee, pushing ripple:native one step deeper into the U.S. federal regulatory process. 🇺🇸
For ripple:native, what happens next:
1. The CLARITY Act now moves beyond the Senate Banking Committee and closer to the full Senate process.
2. The bill may still need to be aligned with additional Senate committee work before reaching the Senate floor.
3. A full Senate vote would then follow, requiring broader bipartisan support.
4. If the Senate version differs from the House version, both chambers must reconcile the final text.
5. Once both chambers approve the same version, the bill can move to the President for signature into law.

I'm getting two vaccines next week: Tdap and shingles.
The Tdap because Kate's family has a newborn and we're visiting. Shingles for the potential longevity benefits.
Data we're looking at:
1. Lower Alzheimer risk with vaccination in 1.6 million people, 8 year follow up, age 65+
+ Tdap/Td: 30% lower relative risk
+ Shingles: 25% lower
+ Pneumococcal: 27% lower
2. Slower biological aging from shingles vaccination in 3,884 people, age 70+
Modest but significant improvements in inflammation, epigenetic and transcriptomic aging, and composite biological age. Molecular signals strongest within 3 years; inflammation benefits emerged later.
3. Better outcomes after breakthrough shingles in 38,092 people, age 50+, median 3.6y follow up In adults who developed shingles, prior vaccination was linked to:
+ 41% lower all-cause mortality
+ 21% lower MACE (MI, stroke, PE, sudden cardiac death)
+ 16% lower dementia risk
Note: all three studies are observational. They show association, not causation. A randomized controlled trial on longevity outcomes is not feasible here as you can't randomize people to skip vaccines for years. The signal is consistent across independent large cohorts, which strengthens confidence, but the possibility of healthy vaccine bias exists in all three. People who stay current on vaccines tend to have better health behaviors overall. I find the mechanistic case for shingles specifically compelling. VZV reactivation drives neuro inflammation, and vaccination appears to blunt that cascade which is why we weight this evidence more heavily than the numbers alone.
