Understand how propaganda works. -In the afternoon, @abpanandatv ran fake news claiming that BJP got 909 votes at a booth where there were only 772 registered voters. -Abhishek Banerjee picked it up. -Kejriwal and all the other clowns started outrage. When the facts were checked, it turned out that the booth had 1109 votes. ABP apologised, but by then, the damage was done. The fake news is now viral everywhere, from X to Facebook to Instagram. People will remember the fake news, but hardly anyone will see the correction. This is how propaganda works. You spread misinformation, let the ecosystem amplify it, issue an apology when caught, and move on. I don't believe this was a simple mistake by ABP. It looks like a deliberate hit job to create outrage and give the Congress ecosystem more ammunition to attack the Election Commission. The damage is already done.
