350 Stelco steelworkers are losing their jobs in Hamilton, following major job losses at Algoma Steel and ArcelorMittal. This is another devastating blow for Canadian workers, their families, and our steel industry.
The Prime Minister needs to turn his rhetoric into reality and deliver for steelworkers who cannot fill their gas tanks with signing ceremonies or pay their mortgages in speeches.
We must unleash Canadian businesses with the fastest permits, lowest taxes, and freest economy so they can hire, make, grow, invent, and build right here at home. Conservatives will continue to fight every day to save Canadian jobs and deliver an affordable, safe, and independent country.

Stelco Steel out of Hamilton just announced they are shutting down indefinitely on October 9th due to tariffs.
500 workers will be out of work across their two locations in Ontario.
They also noted that Canadian sales of their steel is down 10%.
The longer Carney delays any trade negotiations with the U.S. the more Canadians will continue to lose their livelihoods and jobs.

Nigerian Pastor Referenced by Trump Buries Members Amid Ongoing Killings
🚨 BREAKING FROM NIGERIA: ANOTHER WEEK OF BLOODSHED IN PLATEAU STATE
Days after Rev. Ezekiel Dachomo thanked President Donald Trump for speaking at the United Nations about the persecution of Christians around the world, the Nigerian pastor found himself standing beside another mass grave — burying members of his own community.
According to TruthNigeria, three Christians were killed in attacks on Gassa and Chit villages in Plateau State on September 24. The report says the violence continued: two more people were killed the following night and five others the next morning.
TruthNigeria reports that this was the FIFTH attack on the region in just ONwers will be butchered.”
Dachomo has become one of the most visible voices drawing international attention to attacks on Christian communities in Nigeria’s Middle Belt. Earlier this year, President Trump shared footage involving the pastor, while Dachomo has also said members of his own extended family were killed and that he has received death threats.
Local leaders cited by TruthNigeria blamed Fulani-speaking militants for the latest attacks and raised serious questions about the security response. Plateau State Governor Caleb Mutfwang condemned the violence and said security agencies were taking steps to identify those responsible and prevent further attacks.
Whatever the politics, innocent Nigerians should not have to live like this.
Another pastor should not have to bury his congregation.
Another family should not have to bury its children.
Another community should not have to wonder whether it will survive the night.
The world must keep watching Nigeria.
The victims must not become statistics.
Their names, their families and their stories matter.

President Trump just announced a $15 billion steel mega-plant in Iowa — billed as the largest steel plant ever built in the U.S. and the first of that scale since the 1960s.
The plant will produce 7.5 million tons of steel a year, later up to 10 million tons.
It will create 1,750 permanent Iowa jobs + 5,000–6,000 construction jobs.
Investing in the midwest is exactly what this country should be doing instead of importing foreign H-1Bs.
