British taxpayers’ money is being used to fund vehicles that French police have reportedly deployed against school student protesters.
The 4x4s were paid for by the UK government specifically to stop asylum seekers crossing the Channel, yet they were used to charge at student protesters in Dunkirk.
The French government has confirmed an investigation into why the vehicles were used.

Reform mayor of Hull and East Yorkshire, Luke Campbell, is under police investigation over allegations that he showed a female colleague four naked and sexualised images of himself at work.
The woman said she was left “shocked, embarrassed and humiliated” after Campbell and male colleagues laughed at her reaction.
She said: “I was deliberately exposed to naked and sexualised images involving the mayor in the workplace, without my consent, and was laughed at when I was visibly embarrassed. In my view, this was unwanted conduct of a sexual nature which violated my dignity and created a humiliating, degrading and offensive working environment.”
A witness also described seeing Campbell lower his trousers to reveal a tan line and a tattoo on his lower abdomen.
Three weeks after the alleged incident, the woman’s offer of a permanent job was withdrawn. She alleges that she lost the position because she rejected unwanted sexual conduct.
