It's hard to express how incredibly grateful I am for the existence of the Readability Guidelines which I refer to on pretty much a daily basis.
Evidence based, clear, beautiful.

One of the sections for my upcoming book is going to be on the future of design systems. I'd love to crowd-source some other opinions besides mine on that topic. If you're cool with potentially being quoted, share here. Might be interesting to just to read the comments, too. 📓👩🏻🏫

When I was little I was determined to always protect nature, stand against 'bad people' to save forests, animals, wilderness. 🌳🌱🦝🦉
As I grew up my convictions slowly faded, and I've done literally nothing.

Since there is so much interest in this, I made a graphic to round up the different CSS properties that are coming to help us style underlines. Some work in some browsers today. All have fantastic fallbacks, so you can start using them now. (They do NOT break anything in IE11!)

Our Planet—Netflix’s answer to Planet Earth—is a big-budget wildlife documentary that *finally* forces viewers to acknowledge their complicity in the decline of nature, *throughout* each episode. It’s a hugely important shift. theatlantic.com/science/arch…

I've finally managed to finish writing the post about how we created an automated icons distribution pipeline in Badoo. Today the first part, from the initial idea to Sketch; tomorrow the second part, the build script and the generation of the assets. 🚀

#designsystems as a concept are louder and louder but business wants to know how much it costs and how much it saves. However, it is not trivial to find an answer to this question. I am trying this way:
