The iPhone Duo simulator just dropped, and look what we have here!
The team spent the summer getting @craftdocsapp ready for Day 1. This is a first glimpse from the simulator, and it already looks great.
We'll keep polishing the experience over the coming weeks.

I’ll be honest: never really understood why ambitious teams were obsessed with using React Native for complex and performance-intensive apps, when going native always gave you the most control, best UX, tailored XP on iOS and Android.
Craft Docs was always native. Linear also.
Grateful we decided to build the @linear mobile app native from the beginning. We wanted to make the best mobile experience we could.
Some really nice additions coming soon.

Check out Craft and four other productivity apps I love on my Mac App Store feature!
You'd think September couldn't start any better:
- Major new update
- App of the Day around the globe
- Spot in @AppStore's Productivity favourites
...and then @SnazzyLabs is saying @craftdocsapp is one of his favourite apps 🥹

So much sw today doesn’t care much about perf. It just feels sluggish. And everyone seems to have accepted it.
Except when a new product shows how it can be done. Eg Bun for building, Linear for issues, Craft Docs for editing… and look at this Superlogical demo for tmux:
Quick Superlogical demo to end the week. This demo is just of the basic functionality, but I want to highlight just how FAST it is. There's a WHOLE lot more functionality already present and coming but I wanted to keep the demo short. But seriously, check out that speed.
I'm showing the macOS app here and I get asked a lot so let me just say up front: its not macOS only. We're still figuring out exactly what platforms will be stable enough for the initial public release, but we're working on others. In particular, the web interface is very functional but I'll demo that another time (or someone else will).
This is also all showing off the architecture I previously talked about for terminal multiplexing which is significantly different from other mainstream multiplexers: this is all a custom binary protocol where the server is maintaining N replica distributed terminal state machines. It works!
Tons of hard work going into this by the team @almonk @dizzyup @pearkes. Hope we can bring you something you can use soon. ❤️ Happy to answer questions in the replies.

Continuing the quality-of-life improvements for @craftdocsapp, we overhauled how colors and the color picker work, and we're introducing fully custom colors everywhere.
And yes: you can finally color a single word.
Coming next week!
Any quotes that I missed?

Sneak peek: @craftdocsapp + Siri
As many of you asked, we are already working on a deeper Siri integration for OS 27. You will be able to interact with your docs and tasks.
Betas can change anytime, but we are excited how Siri feels already much more powerful than ever!

When I joined Craft, I knew it will be once in a lifetime opportunity - I will be forever grateful for @balintorosz that I had a chance to work next to him and learn from him for all those years.
For Balint and the team members who is joining Polymarket - I wish him the best, but I know for sure they will create amazing things!
We parting ways for now, but the bond is forever.
Love all of you!

Today I moved all my tasks over from OmniFocus and now using @craftdocs solely - I was using OmniFocus in the past 12 years and it served me greatly.
But with the latest beta update the Team is pushing tasks in Craft to a whole new level.
If you want early access, ping me!

Notion feels bloated these days, Obsidian is great but I don't have time for all the configuration/extensions. Been loving the latest from @craftdocs - less complexity but native BYO AI keys + mcp support.

We’ve always tried to be transparent about our plans and how we think about @craftdocs.
This year, we’ll be sharing more frequently so you can get a clearer view of what’s next.
As we make progress, we’ll publish more detailed updates every 6–8 weeks.
